DR Philip Barter is very empathetic and interested in you as a person. Very holistic care. He is a caring human being with an even better sense of humour. Once you join this practice you will not want leave.

   Appointments running very late or don't get seen and need to rebook. There automatic system of sending important reminders seems to be failing and staff just brush it off as "oh well".

   Very Disappointed with The Upper Harbour Medical Centre, in particular Dr Jennifer Lea. Both my husband and I had been enrolled there for about 20+ yrs. When we moved to Ngaruawahia in April this year it obviously wasn't feasible to continue to be enrolled there. Due to unforseen circumstances we sold our house in Ngaruawahia and moved back to Auckland. We then asked to be enrolled again as Dr Lea knows all our medical history but were turned down. On the website it says excepting new patients. Is this how they treat long standing patients who leave the practice for genuine reasons then want to come back ??????
