   The pork belly fat was translucent with crispy crackling, an absolute winning start. We were given a wee free sample by the owner followed by a bloody fantastic feed. We got pork, rice and a few burgers. The chicken burger wasn't just a frozen patty, it was full to the brim of beautiful chicken thigh cooked to perfection. It was onnn. What a bloody treat! The pork was perfect, chicken perfect and great customer service, very down to earth.

   Great food, always come on a Thursday night or others and will go out of my way to come here for Chinese food. Tonight I came at 8pm, doors open, lights on, and was told we're closed get out with a filthy horrible look until we were out of eyesight. Went next door to the bar for a drink, when we were finished at 8:30pm, we came out to find multiple people had just ordered and were waiting for food. Was then told we could come order, at which point i said, "We will never come back as this is absolutely disrespectful". Will never be going back and do not recommend. As a side note I've also had diarrhea from here before. EDIT: Still going here and it's still great, was maybe just a bad day for the chef. We all have them, so can't hold one bad experience against the place

   Ordered the $60 Chinese pack Sweet & sour pork dry hardly any sauce not worth it Egg foo young ok Steak fried rice dry tasteless Chicken chow mein weird taste $25 fish & chip pack YUCK the oil must be old very weird taste

   Best Chinese I have had in ages. Fantastic won tons, generous size, really crisp, seriously some of the better won tons I have had. Portions are generous, food is fresh. Highly recommend 88 Chinese Takeaways.

   Hi Thursday 11 May we ordered combination MEAT stir fry. Unfortunately you added prawns, which is seafood. Please add this fact to the menu as I am highly allergic to shellfish/prawns, so could not eat it. Then the meat egg foo young we were given was incorrect too, a shellfish one, so I couldn't eat this either As we had guests they carried on eating, and I ate the other things. We enjoyed sweet + sour pork, chips, spring rolls, Egg foo young. The food was lovely, but could have made me really sick if we had not noticed the prawns and seafood.

   We ordered black bean beef chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. Both were delicious, really great portions sizes, the server was friendly, it took maybe 10 minutes to cook after placing the order. Super happy thank you!

   What can i say.... first it's good to have a Chinese rest in Tau, and the 2 combination rice looks good. However I must confess that the BBQ pork tastes too sweet and the roast duck is a bit hard. I hope there can be some improvements.
