   Enjoyed a Saturday lunch with family. Fish and chips were good and the burgers were great. Good wine selection. Very reasonable prices and nice portions as well. The venue setup is basic but comfortable and with lovely harbour views. Service could have been a bit more personable but no complaints.

   If you’re a lover of seafood, excellent hospitality and beautiful views of the marina you have to check out this place. I love seafood, the portions were generous and the meals were cooked with care and attention to detail. Seetha was friendly, approachable and very humble. It was our anniversary and she made us feel so welcome and looked after. Give it a try, you won’t regret it! I had the seafood pasta and the scallops were cooked to perfection. Will def come again

   We loved our meal at La Marina! The food was absolutely delicious. We got the garlic bread, scallops, seafood pasta, pork belly, lava cake and sticky date pudding. The scallops were amazing and seafood pasta was the highlight. You can tell that the owners are working very hard and putting their all into this restaurant. Lovely over looking the water at the city lights.

   Where else in West Auckland can you go to dine with a spectacular view of moored boats across the harbour to the CBD cityscape? If you happen to be there for dinner you'll see a magical sunset. Whether you're there for a tasty meal or event, the friendly team will look after you with hearty meals and desserts. If you're a local, it's well worth a visit and if you're not ~ it's only 20 minutes from the CBD. Such a lovely dining experience you'll be glad you tried it. I recently planned an intimate wedding + luncheon here for a fun couple ~ the venue looked beautiful themed up as a harbourside dreamscape and my couple had some gorgeous wedding photos taken with the marina in the background.    So after seeing all the advertising about how great this place is we thought we'd try it out. Three out of 4 of us got the fish and chips for lunch, the portions are very good size for the price. Unfortunately the fish on all of our dishes had a strange aftertaste it wasn't a metallic taste but just very odd almost like the fish wasn't to fresh. Sadly this resulted in after leaving my son with a very sore stomach and me feeling like I was going to throw up. The inside was definitely not clean and needs some general cleaning around the windows and upkeep of the place. You can tell and see when things have not been wiped down. Will not be going back due to this bad experience.

   At this stage it’s a generous 4 stars. Easily one of the best views for a restaurant in Auckland. Simple menu with delicious meals at good prices. This is a new restaurant run by a couple with no additional staff unfortunately that means they are busy and the individual service isn’t at a high standard, had to go looking for someone so we could order our meals. As I mentioned the menu is simple, it had great options but not complicated by too many choices. However there wasn’t enough detail on some of the items. I went with the lamb shank as on the menu it met the needs of my complex dietary requirements however I was shocked when it came out smothered in the tomato sauce which I couldn’t eat. Hopefully they will increase their online presence so they can get more customers in the door which will help them to get to the next level.
