   Food was cold and bland and when we requested new dishes they just walked off and ignored us. Also had no gluten free options and the only toilets around were gross with no toilet paper, soap and broken locks

   What a disappointment! Platform 8 had gone and been bought by new management and have not updated this web page. We were expecting fine dining and got pak n save boxed food. It would of been a good idea for the new owners to explain this when making a booking, language seemed to be a issue However, the food was cooked well and the few staff were trying, good luck as they were only a week in and I'm sure they will put their own flavour in but please update the website or delete it

   The loveliest experience. Very nice staff and the food is delicious. $7 happy hour (5-7.30pm) beers and $12 cocktails too! I think it may be newer owners as the food is Indian and Pizza now which seems different to earlier reviews. They were also more than happy to make us a vegan meal. A must do if coming to Spark Arena. Well definitely be back

   Great atmosphere & music, incredible setting in a historical building, great food & drinks, friendly staff. Definitely coming back, thank you Platform 8! *They have a tasty bar food menu but also do Indian buffet on weekends.*

   We went there by firsttable. It wasn't same as the menu. Many ingredients were missing or not using the right one. On the menu was written "stracciatella" for heirloom tomato sald, but it came with the firm mozzarella type of cheese. I asked the name of the fish they are using. 2 people were saying the different names.the raw fish dish was very smelly like fish was off. I complained to the waitress, then she was very rude. She was cutting me of with" that's what kitchen said". Then she never came to the tble after.The food in general was small portions and not so great for the price. Service was bad. I was lucky to have 50% off by firsttable, it's not worthy for the full price. I wouldn't recommend to go there again.

   Gonna start off with the best thing about this place... and that is the vibe!! The old railway station is a stunning place to have the restaurant - there's an antique feel with nice lighting which is just lovely. The service was ok, prompt and the waitress was very helpful. However, just a bit too quick to over to clean up dishes when we weren't finished with them. The food was... ok as well. It wasn't bad overall, just expected a bit better for the price range. Also, the beef cheek we ordered had some burnt things in the dish...??? Odd. Anyway, I hope it's not a recurring thing... the place itself is stunning!

   The staff were great. The food looked fantastic, but lacked any real substance. For the price, I wouldn't go here again - there's too many great resteraunts in Auckland, this facility just isn't up to the high standards I expect for these prices. Great staff, food was average but not great.

   Food was alright. Service was awfully slow and even more for other diners around us when it got busy, granted it was a show night. Food was interesting, we ordered the fish, lamb, pork belly, and some sides. Pork belly was the best dish followed by the criss cross cut fries. Not sure if I would return again even with Zomato Gold discount, but an OK experience.
