   Really impressed with the relaxed and helpful nature of the young saleswoman today. Understaffed due to a colleague being sick, but she managed two tills ( I was fumbling with a money transfer and asked her to serve the person behind me)with smooth and friendly efficiency. More than this, she was proactive (I find this is often the case at my regular Animates in GI)in suggesting price match for some dog ear-wash when I asked if they had Zip or any loyalty discounts available to me(not possible) Her helpful thinking demonstrated what I love about good customer service - helping to solve the customer's concerns. Made my day!

   Our local Animates store! I always love coming here as all the staff are friendly and amazing. The staff are always so helpful, and they once even helped me bring big bags of litter boxes to the car ☺️ Products are mostly stocked, and they have great multi buy deals. Have done a price match with them in the past too. Special shout out to Nyk and Joseph, always with smiles everytime I see them. Keep up the great work team!

   One stop shop for all your pet needs. There is wide range of pet toys, shampoo, beds, food and other items. The ambiance is great if you are an avid pet lover. The aquarium selection is excellent. You will get spoiled with the choice. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are highly knowledgeable and passionate. The location is very handy in supa Centa and ample parking is available in front, side and rear of the shop. There is dog wash available. Highly recommend to have pet grooming as well.

   Came in wanting to buy something for my fish tank as was told by Facebook team to ask in store as it's not stock online. Had very cold service from what I did buy and wasn't asked for my name or number for loyalty programme I've been in for a decade. Felt like it would be a mission to get what I needed ordered in; they wouldn't tell me cost of it either so brought it from another aquarium store.

   This is where we met our little kittens at an adoption event at Animates Manukau in collaboration with 'Nine Lives' rescue and fell in love with them to bring them home. The event was well organised and paperwork very efficient. The volunteers and helpers were passionate about what they did and made the whole experience very pleasant and memorable.
