   Belinda from A Rats Tail is the master of her 'rat' trade. She does so much for them, and for her customers/clients. My boys love the food she makes up herself and sells. She breeds them and I have got 2 boys through her and they are the most lovely and sweet rats, so you know she puts effort into making sure they are handled and loved as soon as they make it into this world. She also rat sits for you if you go on holiday. I had my 4 boys with her for 11 days and before going on holiday I discovered one if my boys had a maloclussion (overgrown teeth) I told her about this and she got him an appointment to get his teeth trimmed and meds as it was quite bad, all during her own time. She also works at a vet clinic so is very knowledgeable in that area too. I would recommend her business to anyone especially if they need someone who needs to look after their rats, as they are pretty hard to come by!

   I met these guys at the pet expo in Wellington and was super happy to find a one stop shop for pet rat lovers/ owners being new to rat ownership. The food mixes are great, and our girls favour their food mix over anything store brought. It’s a nutritious mix that covers a lot of food groups. A rats tail are a group of knowledgeable individuals that are passionate about our furry friends and their well being. Thank you!

   I bought a bag of the Premium food mix that A Rat's Tail makes and it was absolutely hoovered by our young girls. Not a second thought or doubt from them nor an item left behind. A quality food made by experienced rat people - you couldn't ask for anything more. Though you can get more and I also got a beautiful bamboo ladder (not wrecked yet) and a free toy (demolished). Affordable and yet top-of-the range quality. We have bought more since that first bag - it's a staple now.
