Love eastern marine and all the staff, a wealth of knowledge and always happy to give advice on anything that may be going on in your tank. Shipping is always top notch and the corals and fish are consistently high quality. They ran out of the frogspawn I had ordered but after a quick phone call a beautiful and more expensive hammer had been substituted (with the most healthy looking flesh bands I've ever seen). I really enjoy shopping at Eastern Marines. The team is always super helpful, and their livestock are always in excellent condition. Honestly, I can’t wait for them to get more stock in—it’s the kind of shop I’ll happily drive all the way from Tauranga just to see what’s new (even though I never leave empty-handed!). Their social media page is also great and makes it easy to stay updated with the latest arrivals. Highly recommend

We brought a M150 system as an upgrade from our previous tank. The M150 had great features and was simple to install and set up, it looked great in our living room and are still happy with the tank, I have to say we are mostly very impressed with the tank however there are two issues with the finish of the tank, namely a poorly cut cabinet door with an obvious defect (being rectified by eastern marine) and what I can only explain as specking or what looks like bubbles under the black trim around the bottom of the tank which is noticeable under bright light. While this speckling is a nuisance it ultimately has not stopped us enjoying the tank and a replacement tank would not be worth the trouble considering the global supply issues with COVID etc so we will live with it. We were recommended MICMOL Thor X lights to run this tank and despite it being a visually pleasing light we have had nothing but issues with three faulty controllers each presenting with different issues, one completely failing, one where the white channel was constantly on and another controller that would completely reset itself randomly back to midday in the schedule at any time for the day or night. Frankly we were about to throw in the towel after a string of livestock losses, when fortunately Matt agreed to a return of the Mic Mol lights. I have to say this has not been an easy upgrade and we have had our share of issues for sure but I am thankful that Matt has been prompt with emails and has gone beyond (personally delivered and set up the tank etc). He has been prompt with his efforts to rectify issues through this process, so thank you Matt for all your help, advice and fingers crossed everything will settle down from here!
Eastern Marine has been an amazing help in getting my partner and I set up and maintain an ever growing reef. The livestock is always in great quality with a lot of variety, and Matt and his team have been super helpful with honest discussions and advice at all hours. I doubt we would have had as much success as we've had without their help.
Epic Store, Awesome Staff, some of the best coral and livestock I've seen in NZ, well looked after and maintained. Has sustainable beliefs re the hobby. Its only a pleasure to support a LFS like this, definitely Highly recommended to All.
