I bought a bike from this company online only to receive an email the next day to say there had been a mix up and they had to cancel the transaction. Not good enough.
Terrible customer service. Bought a Giant Trance E and had the whole system freeze, which needed to be reset. This was in the first 12 months of ownership. Charged me in excess of $280 to fix, which I thought would have been under warranty. I then raised the issue with Giant NZ head office in Auckland (on 2 separate occasions) who said they would talk to Cycle Science and get them to come to the party - never heard back from them. I have since voted with my feet and taken my business elsewhere.
Pretty disappointing experience. Owners come across greedy and not honoring deals with customers, they act rude and aren't helpful towards customers. The selection was limited, and the prices were way higher than other shops nearby.
Great efficient service from a knowledgeable team. I'm new to biking and so appreciate the honesty and 'realness' of the crew when I need clarification and guidance. I have complete confidence in their ability to keep me and my Juliet (yes I name my bike! lol) humming along together nicely :) Thank you and see you next time Ju needs a tickle

Super online experience! This was my third online order and the team were more than helpful when I ordered the wrong size gloves. I will definitely be shopping here again! 10/10 recommend.
Had a good experience buying a bike through Cycle Science, but have had a couple of after sales let downs. Wheel put in for truing came out less true than when it went in. Tyre started rubbing on the frame. Couple of other instances as well. Try to support them because the shop supports local MTB racing series and clearly the Customer Assistants have some knowledge, but shop is let down by inability to deliver consistently.
Matt and the team have been great to deal with, Worked out well despite unforeseen delays along the way. Stoked with the new Firebird! Roll on summer!
Brent and his team were AWESOME, kept me up to date with when my bike was arriving, as per everything with COVID delaying everything, When my bike arrived I travelled to Wellington to get it, Brent and his team were so helpful even spending time setting up my bike for my weight and height AAAA++++ great service guys thanks
