New Year’s Day and almost everything was closed, so it was awesome to find EVO Lower Hutt open. Matt was super helpful on the phone when I called to ask about bleed kits, and when I came into the shop he was just as kind and knowledgeable in person. The whole experience was great and really appreciated. Thanks so much, Matt!
I had excellent service at Evo Cycles in Lower Hutt. I'll definitely be going there for all my cycling needs in the future. Servicing and all the little things like inner tubes, oh and some sunglasses. (The weather usually improves when the schools start up again) The photo shows you why I needed the Panniers! And also the bike I replaced which didn't fit me !
I want to give a special shout-out to Peter and Jason who really went out of my way to help me out. I arrived at the store end of last month with a broken rim and even though they were fully booked for repairs, they found a way to order a new wheel and repair my bike in a couple of days. All this even though I literally arrived at closing time! Extremely kind and helpful people. So thank you so much!!
Huge selection! Knowledgeable staff quickly showed me what I needed and even how to put it on - saved a ton of time and was able to get out to the track before my mates! UPDATE: have made several more trips to the store and enjoy it each time. The team is above and beyond helpful and really take the time to learn what kind of writer they're helping out!
A kind gentleman at Evo helped me repair my puncture, teach me how to do it myself the next time (and didn't even mind me hovering and checking out his tools), and figure out what I was missing in my service kit. Infinitely patient and friendly with me. I highly recommend the team and their products. I've had only good experiences with the kit I've bought at the Lower Hutt store. Cheers guys.

When selling me a bike (trek marlin 55 Lithium grey), have better customer care, check the tires are pumped and ready to go,(I had 16psi in my tires!) I asked for the manual and didn't even get that! check the nuts and bolts of the bike! I took my bike into the a specialist store just to ease my conscience and fix the shifting. clean the cobwebs off the floor stock, I'm absolutely furious to make these discoveries after spending 1k, also whoever assembles the show room bikes needs a good talking too! I have discovered a number of bolts to be slightly already stripped and definitely not torqued to the correct settings, even tho the unit of torque is right next to the bolt! I most certainly will not be returning to the lower hutt store! it makes sense when going into competing suppliers they don't paint a great picture of this branch, if only i was to know this before making purchases.. I've never been so disappointed, I would score -10, I have since also made it my mission to proactively educate people to avoid evo cycles lower hutt, Good day.

The sales guy was super helpful and put together a bike just for my son to try. He then had another bike made up for him just because he wanted a different colour. He was very friendly and happy to help.
