   Not a great experience really. We ordered the straight cut agria chips, but they were soggy and different to the ones in the family pack. One scoop was absolutely tiny. They made the food not long after receiving the order. Even though I'd specified for 12:15pm, it was ready at 12:05pm, so everything was sitting and steaming inside the paper. My mum mentioned it to them and they said nothing. They are indian owners and I'm surprised by the amount of positive reviews- maybe they've changed hands recently? The snapper was SO TINY. It was literally like two fish cocktail bites. Ridiculous for $8! The butter chicken spring roll was okay, but it was mostly undercooked potato and a little bland. I enjoyed the chicken dimsim. The potato fritters were $2 each, but were quite large. Very oily and soggy though. There is an issue on the website that the chicken burger says sweet chilli on the description but in the section to add or remove ingredients, it says tomato sauce. I unchecked that, but I wanted the sweet chilli it was supposed to come with. They wrote no sweet chilli on the bag though. Overall, I wouldn't bother again. Kingseat Takeaways is SO much better.

   First time ordering from Clarks Beach Takeaways. We ordered online for 12.15pm pick up. The order was ready 5 minutes early, so unfortunately the food was steamed and quite soggy. We tried several different menu items including butter chicken spring roll and BBQ spring roll. We also ordered a chicken dim sim and a wonton. The snapper was very small and soggy batter. The potato fritters were huge and had potential, but steamed in the takeaway bag. Honestly, pretty average and overall not impressed. We won't be going back and will stick with Kingseat takeaway.

   What a chill eateries, the location is awesome. Plenty of space to dine in and eat, even eat your takeaways out on the deck. First time here and to Clark's Beach in general. Food tasted fresh and not oily, food definitely matched the price well.. Steak and egg bur x 2 Curly fries Lasagna topper Crabstick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Can't wait to visit again and try more things on the menu

   New owners. Menu options more varied. Pizzas are great. Fresh fish (snapper) delicious . The previous owners also provided great food for the family of all ages.

   My sister, Mum and myself had 3 pieces of snapper and chips. The chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the fish was fresh and covered in a light batter…very tasty! I would go back again and have the same dish and try some other menu item!

   New owners deserve a little more time to get things right. Used to be 4.5/5 but little things are getting the locals upset. Chips are soggy and warm and half the serving as previously served. Cheeseburger orders mixed up - asked for beetroot and extra onion - 1 arrived with beetroot and no onion and the second one no beetroot with little onion.

   Some of the best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Beautiful fresh snapper with crispy batter and crinkle cut chips cooked to perfection. This is a definite must try if you like fish and chips. Nice friendly people running it

   Nestled in the beach burb Clark’s Beach Takeaways brings a real feel to the classic kiwi eat! Great menu to choose from at competitive rates. The fresh, clean taste makes you completely satisfied without the heavyweight. We had the famous “fish taco’s and wrinkled fries - YUM! My photo doesn’t do justice so you will most definitely have to pop in say hello and be impressed.
