   We are not regular shoppers at Città, but had received a voucher as a gift. We decided to bring our toddler along, and immediately realised we’d made a bit of a tactical error as everything in store is very, very nice. Fortunately the salespeople came to our rescue with a wonderful selection of books and even a pink sticker to keep little miss entertained. They were faultlessly welcoming and helpful, even though we came in for a very small purchase at the end of a chilly Sunday. (They also both somehow had great hair, which I always notice in Wellington - most of us usually look pretty windswept)!

   Citta Thorndon. This is what l would call a spacious, showroom with some unusual specialty pieces, very classy and modern, they have a wide range of products. Can range from furniture, linen, toiletries, kitchenware, l could go on but the list is to long, l have been there several times with family, love it for a different piece that you would not get elsewhere. This lovely Radio on a pedestal, l love it. Prices, well can be expensive, but quality comes at a cost, sorry, plenty of parking, but watch out for the meter man, staff are very helpful, so if you want to check it out for yourself,please don't take my word. I have my eye on something. Thankyou Louise

   The staff there are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, I was left highly disappointed today when I went in and was very interested in a 200 x 300 rug. I asked if they could load into my car for me and they told me it's a health and safety issue that they can't, even though the man there has the cheek to say that he goes to the gym. I could have carried it myself ( I am 68 and 5 ft tall). It is awkward but not impossible for me alone to load into the car, just takes me longer on my own. Just unbelievable, I would have thought that it is the least service you can afford a good returning customer who would have paid $3,000 for it. A lot of other businesses always offer to carry bulky items for me to the car without my even asking. Is this health and safety gone mad or just lazy salespeople? I will bring my business elsewhere on principle. Goodbye May Ng
