Lord Kitchener is a fantastic local pub that delivers on all fronts. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax with friends or enjoy a casual meal. The service is excellentβfriendly, attentive, and efficient. The food is top-notch, with hearty pub classics prepared well and served generously. Everything we tried was delicious and satisfying. The overall vibe is lively yet comfortable, striking the perfect balance between a bustling pub and a cosy neighborhood hangout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a genuinely enjoyable pub experience in Sandringham.

I have been wanting to visit this place for a while to have their famous roast and was worth the wait. I also like the atmosphere. Very good bar and a fantastic place to watch sports. Update: Normally I always go for the amazing Sunday roast dinner, but on my last visit I noticed the updated menu and saw they had Gammon, Egg, and Pineapple with hand-cut fries. I havenβt had that in years, and itβs rare to see on a menu these days. The nostalgic taste was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended. I would highly recommend booking in advance for a table in the weekends as this places gets busy and I can see why. Still fantastic service and great staff.

Went in for early dinner on the whim and so glad that we did. The food was amazing, especially the desserts, they are divine. Great atmosphere and impeccable service. Would highly recommend.

We visited for lunch and werenβt welcomed by staff until we went to the bar and made our presence known. The girl that eventually served us was lovely and made sure we were taken care of. We had the shepherds pie, calamari, pint fries and wings. Unfortunately the shepherds pie lacked flavour and was predominantly potato and the calamari wasnβt worth what we paid. The staff did mention that they had some recent changes to their menu, so maybe we caught them on a bad day because everything was very average and pricing for the calamari and wings were quite dear for the portions. We visited at 12.30pm when they just opened so the atmosphere was quiet and dead, but regardless nice and clean.

Good spot for a pint or a meal. I had a tasty cheeseburger, which came with thinly cut fries. Good selection of draft beer (draught beer?) Two fireplaces - one inside and one in the terrace, which also has heat lamps for the winter. Friendly staff and efficient surface. Can be a bit tricky to park. I parles in Calgary and walked a block to avoid the main avenue. Lots of seating. Large screen TVs for watching sports, but not obnoxiously loud or rowdy. Family friendly, with large tables to accommodate groups.

Stopped in on a whim and was absolutely delighted! Jason, who we later found out is the owner, was awesome and had a great gin selection (among other drink selections). The menu is full of elevated bar and pub food. They also played the women's world cup quarter final. While the game didn't go the way we were hoping, we had some good food and drink to console us.

We had an excellent time, and incredible drinks mixed by Jason. His service was top notch and drinks even better, not all pictured, regrettably. Highly recommend!
