Did the Harbour Yatch Cruise and was an amazing experience. Its different cruising with the wind than with an engine. Allowing passengers to take turns to steer was interesting. The crew was helpful in guiding us on how the steer the yatch. Would recommend to have this experience in ones bucket list.

Great experience at one of the America’s Cup sailing boat from 2003. Unfortunaly it started to rain quite heavily, but we all got a raincoat from the crew. So that helped at least to keep the upper body dry. It’s a nice experience to be an such a big sailing boat. Can recommend it, even when rain is predicted.

What a fun way to spend couple hours. You before part of the crew and experience it 1st hand. We had so much fun doing it. It goes so fast and tilts just like when racing. The staff was also fantastic and made it fun for us all.

Tiritiri Matangi was an incredible day out, saw many birds and the beaches were lovely. We loved the variety of walks to do too! 10/10 experience! Highly recommend

There are many marine tours departing from Auckland, but among them, I definitely recommend Explore Group New Zealand! There’s no doubt about it. As a resident of Auckland who often goes on various marine tours with my son, I never imagined there would be a tour that offers such meticulous guidance and commentary, plus a walk on Rotoroa Island, all for $155. However, while we’re used to any rough seas, even people who don’t usually get seasick might feel it on this tour. Regarding young children, it can be very dangerous for preschoolers. If you have multiple preschoolers, it’s best to reconsider the trip. My son is used to boats, so he can balance his body with the movement, and I brought a safety belt for him on board. Since it’s a long boat trip, some kids might get bored, and it’s a tough journey where strollers can’t be used and carrying children would be challenging. Just because we enjoyed it doesn’t mean I can recommend it for families with small children. This tour is suitable for children who love the sea, are used to boats, and are physically and mentally robust. If that’s the case, there’s no other company that offers such a wonderful experience at such a low cost for parents and children! For marine tours, it’s Explore Group New Zealand!

Always fun to get out on the water with whale watching (saw lots of dolphins but no other whales) but this had the added benefit of seeing the islands surrounding the Auckland Harbor. The tour we did was 4-hours which was quite the commitment with a 5-year-old but the staff did a stellar job of providing the kids with fun stuff to do. The food on the ship was pretty limited but we made it work. The alcohol on the other hand was great with lots of local selections.

I highly recommend taking the race sailing excursion on the Auckland Harbor. The crew does a great job of including you in the sailing and teaching you about race sailing history. The views are terrific. It is an incredible way to see the city and its surroundings.

Highly recommend their America’s Cup Experience, an extremely rare and absolutely dope opportunity to get on an actual retired racing sailboat. The ride is educational yet very fun, staff are professional, funny, and helpful.

Great experience sailing in the harbor! Beautiful views and action! The skipper and crew gives as a chance to experience how is it working on a sailing boat, and there was time for everyone to try and steer the boat. Great feeling passing under the bridge! I would say that’s just a bit pricey.

Did the dinner cruise on Defiance yacht. Jessie and his two crew really looked after us. Drinks and canapes to start with followed by a lovely fish meal and Coffee brulee to finish. Weather was perfect, slight wind, still warm as sun had not set. Just sailed around the harbour for 2 hours taking in the sights. Would recommend if the weather is fine.
