   Food was delicious; we ordered the squid, chips, cheesy garlic bread and onion rings for appetisers and they did not disappoint. The fish tacos were amazing. The staff were very friendly as well; great service and we will definitely be back.

   Arrived at Mr Illingsworth around about 4.15pm, plenty of tables available. We ordered Eye Fillet Steak with chips and salad and Scotch Fillet with chips and slaw. The Eye fillet was tough and was sliced (I assumed this was supposed to make it look more than it actually was) the salad was basic and the chips were nearly lukewarm as the Garlic Butter didn’t even melt. The Scotch Fillet was also tough, chips barely lukewarm and the slaw unappealing like it was out of a store brought bag. Third time we have dined there, there won’t be a fourth.

   Good food, service was okay. Atmosphere was very average, music was ridiculously loud, to the point where we had to shout in each other's ears to be heard. Asked if they could turn it down a little only to be told it was due to a function. That should not come at the cost of the enjoyment to other patrons. Will probably not return, totally killed the vibe

   Today - lower star rating due to food From ordering to table still very slow & it was not very busy. Front of house staff very friendly & welcoming. Food today - vege pizza was unfortunately quite tasteless, cauliflower tempura was nice, could have been placed on paper towel as quite greasy. My husband enjoyed the raw fish. 9-months ago my review was Excellent food, quite busy so food to table from ordering did take quite awhile today

   Dinner options are fantastic, generous portions, drinks innovative, very attentive staff. The only issue is the kitchen can't handle big crowds in my opinion hence it's a long wait for the food to arrive. The staff do let you know that it's a 30 min wait though. Suggestion: order the mains when ordering the starters
