Good food, I like the music option and the seating arrangements. Only problem is the just how little of everything you get, half my burrito was tortilla and the tacos are 80% lettuce and 20% meat/beans and cheese. The service can be hit or miss
There were 5 workers on, yet we had to wait 30+ mins for our order. We also had to change our meat to chicken as they didn’t have any beef left? We ended up getting a refund as service was taking too long. It’s disappointing as there were 10+ Uber Eats orders lined up on the counter, yet we were left to wait… Not a great experience, inside was a mess even though there was ample staff available.
Great staff, yummy food, wicked decor. If you want authentic Mexican this isn't your place. If you want a filling fast food meal that isn't the usual McDonald's or KFC. This place is great.
The best place ever, their food was soop good the Team here were efficient and polite and the food was prepped so well the chips were yummy as! We live on the shore but definitely worth the drive to New Lynn.
Don't go here, food was cold, no napkins given out, no sauce available, literally waited 35 minutes. They had barely any staff and the place was packed. I know if they had more than two people in the kitchen it would of been better. The one in town is much better.
Selection was definitely small compared to the US. Very similar flavor, but didn’t seem as big/stuffed. They added a Mexico sort, ring the bell if you like our service, and employees say “Woo!”...it got old and annoying. Always hated that sort of thing. Would hate to work there for that reason. I’m sure it drives the workers crazy. Nice they had ordering kiosks. It was pretty busy when I was there, but still got my food in about maybe 7mins., so that was good. Happy they had a digital soda machine, but the cup was small...could go back and get a refill with no problem though I guess. They also had a slushy (frozen drink) machine, so that was cool. $12 something for the meal I got...but it’s NZ, so it figures. Mexican fries were interesting. Would have been nice with Heinz Ketchup. Customers were a bit messy with frozen drinks and sauces or whatever, but a kid made a round and cleaned up. Someone mentioned self cleanup (taking your tray and throwing out the leftover food and trash)...THAT’S NORMAL FOR FAST FOOD PLACES IN THE USA.
The food is decent at a cheap fast food price. Good value for me. Drinks and frozen coke machine to refill too which is always a plus. The only bummer is waiting half an hour for the food.
Food and service both were on point. friendly staff members, new, nice and clean premises. Kids side of the menu looked pretty good too. Outside seating area is very spacious. We were served by a very friendly management team. Will definitely be back.
VEGETARIANS: Went at 6pm on a Friday night and waited only about 30 minutes. Spent 40 dollars on so many different items. Favourite was the crunch supreme with beans and the soft/hard taco with beans. The cheese dip is TO DIE FOR when you dip the chips in it. They got my meal correct and didnt put meat in it which is very rate for fast food places these days. Really reccomend the cheesy gordita taco with beans. Such good food and happy staff despite how busy they were.
