I visited Little India for a Diwali dinner with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely brilliant — the rich, flavourful gravies made each dish delicious and satisfying. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff were courteous and welcoming throughout. The candlelight ambience added a beautiful touch to the evening. Definitely a must-visit restaurant for families.

I purchased a butter chicken meal and a Naan bread. Probably the worst curry I have had. I think I was given a Korma and even then it was not good. My Naan was burnt and didn't taste good at all. I'm really sad that this has been the experience as I was expecting so much better going from the reviews online.

I dined here for a bday celebration and I was really impressed. The starter platter was huge and the tandoori lamb chops were some of the best Indian I ever had. The main portions were generous and the paneer naan tasted incredible. They gave us complimentary poppidoms with chutney and riata which were a really nice accompaniment. Service was super attentive and the owner even came to say hello at the end. He told us how their recipes haven't changed in about two decades, and how they use no MSG or sugar. In a world where service standards are declining these guys really do shine. Definitely coming back.

The flavors here are absolutely incredible! I tried their signature curry, and my partner had the Butter Chicken—both dishes were bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We’re already planning our next visit to explore more of their tempting menu. To top it all off, the customer service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. Highly recommend this place!

My partner and I ordered takeaway last night, we usually enjoy trying new curries when ordering Indian cuisine but last night we felt like classic Butter Chicken. It was probably the worst both of us have ever had. It was weak in any flavour, very light in colour and tasted much like a homemade Chicken Tonight job. We enjoyed the garlic naan and rice, and appreciated the efforts of using cardboard packaging where possible. Still, this did not save the meal and it's safe to say we'll be buying elsewhere next time.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Little India Restaurant in Glen Eden and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The food was simply delicious - every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic Indian flavors and spices. However, what really made the evening special was the exceptional service provided by Bobby and his team. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly conversation. Bobby's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he was happy to make recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, our glasses were never empty and our plates were cleared promptly. The staff seemed genuinely invested in ensuring that we had a great experience, and we certainly did. I highly recommend Little India Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine and fantastic service. Thank you, Bobby and your great team, for making our night out a memorable one."

Last night I ordered x5 meals. One being a chicken sagwaala, it tasted buttery, was very thick. So thick that I could hold the container upside-down and the curry stayed in place. The chicken was orange. See picture. The other x4 meals ordered were also not to standard. None of the 5 meals were enjoyed. I've never had a sagwaala look or taste like this. I have enjoyed many meals at little India Glen eden over the past 4 Years. But after receiving this. I will not be going to or recommending this restaurant again.
