Some of the best vibes in Wellington. Less pretentious than some other bars. Super friendly staff, delicious cocktails (that aren’t as expensive as other places) and overall a more relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere

It's normally my ended of the day or after day kinda place since 3 years ago. Can't count how many drinks I had from here (I'm not alcoholic no worries). If you want a vibe, great bartenders and comfy couch sitting (first in first serve) then just come here.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, I sat at the bar and noticed them not just serving but engaging with the others patrons. My espresso martini wasn’t as foamy and creamy as I expected, but it tasted good. Very interesting decor, I loved the lighting. It’s a really nice spot for dates, specially during winter!

Very small back bar, simply because all the bottles are hanging off the ceiling. Is it a good idea, I asked? The very professional and knowledgeable barman answered that it was the best set up he's ever worked with! The cocktails are very well executed, the chats are fun, the venue is comfortable, warm, cosy. Try their signature cocktails (the lover boy in particular) but challenge them with other classics, they will know the recipe. It is also very popular with the local hospitality community, which is always a good recognition.

This bar is a fantastic choice for those on the hunt for a quirky and unique cocktail experience. The establishment is beautifully decorated, creating an inviting ambiance that adds to its charm. It offers an impressive array of cocktails, catering to a variety of tastes. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Great little cocktail bar! The Pain Aux Raisins cocktail was especially delicious.

We went out for a night in town, trying to find the best pub/ watering hole when we stumbled accross this gem. The atmosphere inside sets the mood straight away... no excessive loud music, instead you a greeted with a dim candle lit scene. The leather couches and book shelves adds a special touch which few places around it can beat. The more your eyes search all the corners of this pub the more you discover. We couldnt order anything from the menu as the kitchen was already closed due to us arriving 30min to closing time. The menu did look mouth watering. Bar staff didnt meet a beat and were spot on with their service. Will drop in again next time I am in town.

Nice atmosphere, super friendly service with a lot of knowledge in what he's doing. Unfortunately i wasn't really happy with my espresso martini there you could have some more improvements about the creamyness. Beside that we had a nice evening and I could totally recommend it.

The pastrami toastie here changed my life. The pickles are so scrumptious and the sundried tomatoes compliment the salty pastrami and the creamy cheese and I’m in love with this gorgeous toastie. The cocktails are pretty great too. But the toastie has my heart

A cute little cocktail bar tucked away on Hannah’s lane, we cannot recommend this enough! With high tables, large tables and sofas to choose from, you can be comfy or lively depending how you’re feeling! From the menu we tried the You and Me on VHS whisky cocktail, the tequila ditch and the White chocolate cocktail with wasabi called Eutrema Dreamer (it was like an after eight with alcohol) as well as an off menu Negroni! All were top notch and we left feeling very merry!
