I have visited twice. The most recent visit I ordered the chicken balti. The service was friendly and prompt. Their food standard and safety certificates appear to be up to date. I feel the decor looks a little tired and could do with a spruce up
This is where we come for our butter chicken and garlic naan fix ❤️❤️. We recently bought their samosas, so tasty and the sizes of each one are perfect, especially with the sauce it comes with. We absolutely love them! I highly recommend giving this establishment a visit.
their dishes are top notch imo, beautiful and very well made, 10/10. the best butter chicken and is always my go-to. HOWEVER the naan bread is hit or miss. if i order "garlic naan", i get exactly what i expect: well done, crispy, tearable bread, this is what naan bread is. but if i order "cheesy garlic naan", i get: doughey, rubbery, undercooked mess. please tell me why this is?? i ordered x8 and i threw it all in the bin because the taste was terrible. this is the second time this has happened, so i'm guessing this is actually a style of naan they sell, i never knew undercooked naan was an option?? next time i will just order garlic naan every single time to avoid that bad naan.
Feedback on Yesterday’s Order: Great food, but the call taker should've said they were closing. I've been a regular at Curry To Go (2-3 times a month) and have always praised their food - the butter chicken is excellent, and I've recommended it to many people. Yesterday I phoned at 1:57 pm and said I'd pick up in 20 minutes. The call taker accepted the order but didn't mention that the shop closes at 2 pm. I have a screen snap of the call time to confirm this. We arrived around 2:35-2:40 pm. We had trouble on the motorway. I can understand that staff might have been annoyed, but better communication at the start would have avoided the whole issue. Instead, I was made to feel at fault when really the order shouldn't have been taken so close to closing time. The food is 5***** star, but customer relations could be improved. Clear communication matters just as much as good food.
The food was okay, but I was disappointed to see it reheated in a microwave. I don’t think a proper restaurant should serve food that way

I ordered spicy butter chicken and it was very nice and tasty.
I tried paneer butter corma curry for the first time and it was average. Person who took the order didn’t ask for the spice level. Hopefully next time will get better taste for other options.
Haven't had a nice Indian meal for a long time! This is the best ever in the ENTIRE Wellington City. If you want a great Indian food, look no further than here! Furthermore this is the only place to have great portions compared to many others!
