This place is my obsession, literally the best coffee spot in Wellington. The staff are always lovely, the coffee is mint and the cheese scones are absolutely gorgeous
Great connect to Johnsinville library , check in books , read magazines and enjoy CG's pulled pork sandwich on toasted ciabatta , WOW , yummy, fair pricing and ultra flavorful ! Boosted my thermostat with a hot chocolate drink w/ twin marshmellows smile. Excellent greeting , great takeaway service , friendly. The staff does all they can to arrange tables for those whom wish to be seated inside yet this misty Saturday tables were scarce hence the 3 β environment/ atmosphere. CG Rocks β!!!

As other reviews say, itβs very intimate, close tables etc BUT the food and coffee 10/10!! Best pulled pork bene Iβve had yet, nice and moist and full of flavour and very generous servings. Highly recommend this place. Parking can be tricky but itβs worth it. 5 Stars
One of my favourite cafes in all of Wellington! The service is consistently phenomenal and the cabinet food selection is out of this world. Alongside the extensive brunch menu, there is something for everyone at Common Ground, whether you're wanting a meal or snack, sweet or savoury, as well as children and those with dietary restrictions. It can be busy at times, but you'll never be waiting for a table, nor will there be a wait for the food. Their team is very efficient and will ensure you have a calming dining experience. Highly rate their muffins, cheese scone and bang bang chicken salad. Keep up the awesome work guys! :)
Common ground is one of my favourite cafes in Wellington! Kids friendly! Consistently good coffee, wide range of yummy cabinet and kitchen food. The staffs are friendly and helpful. No matter how busy, I have never had to wait too long for my order. 10/10!
Had the pumpkin feta walnut filo very nice however could not find a single morsel of walnut nor taste it. Must say their Mochachino was really nice.
Lovely little cafe inside the library. Lots of dietary options for vegetarians and vegans. Could expand the menu a little bit more to provide plant based variations on standard menu items. Place is warm, there are a lot of tables, and you can browse the magazines in the library while you wait. Wifi supplied by the council is very slow so canβt recommend it as a place to work until they fix the internet set up.
