Great food, Beef Wellington was amazingly good. Service was excellent and with extra guests joining us was no problem. Great views. The wine list was ok and well priced. One80 was a nice surprise.
A bonus that this restaurant is part of the hotel we’re staying in. Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, absolutely delicious food. Steak and chips, cook exactly how we asked, accompanied by truffle butter. Chicken Tikka, with a trip of dips, accompanied by garlic naan, and rice. Not too spicy (perfect for those who don’t like spice) my favourite dip was the tzatziki style. Kids meals come with a drink and dessert. Mac and cheese, perfect size for for kids, my son enjoyed it but I through it was too cheesy. Ice cream sundae was very cute, 1 single scoop with marshmallows, sprinkles and wafers. Visited One80 for Wellington on a Plate (they’ve won the last two years, so expectations were high!) and tried the Curry Rice Papad Project with two burgers – one beef, one fish. The first thing that blew me away was the buns – made from basmati rice kanji. I’ve never had anything like it before: soft, squishy, light, beautiful. The burgers themselves were bursting with flavour. My boyfriend’s favourite was the fish with Karwari coconut onion curry sauce, while I loved the beef with the Goan cafreal curry sauce. We went on Saturday at 1:00 and it wasn't busy at all. The venue is large, with comfy chairs. The view looks out to Te Papa and the carpark, with a peek of the water – I do wish the dining area was on the other side of the building to take advantage of the sea views. Service was prompt, professional, and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Overall – One80 really delivered. Inventive, delicious, and memorable. Can definitely see why they’ve been past winners!
In for lunch and to try the Curry Rice Papad Project burger for Burger Wellington. So good. Really love it. The kids options and dessert were great too. Loved the chocolate fondant.

Wonderful view. Delicious food. The service was mediocre at best, as the food and drinks were taken off the table before we had finished our meals and drinks. But overall, great food and atmosphere.
Great food and superb service. Well done team. Couldn’t have asked for more. Family friendly, great views, pleasant ambience and happy staff.
Amazing Experience! We loved all of our dishes! The staff were friendly and we got a window seat to see the views. Would highly recommend.
