   Mid Point Cafe in Hobsonville is an absolute gem! The food is so good—fresh, tasty, and consistently amazing every time.    Really beautiful cafe! Lovely spacious seating and the "outdoor area" was pretty - however it got so hot that our table was sweating and had to ask someone to open the tarp for some fresh air. The french toast was pretty but dry and the plates for our table came out at different times - one plate arrived 10 minutes later than all the others. Cups were on short supply which was a bit weird and the ones that did come out had marks all over them. I'd be interesting in trying more but wouldn't get the french toast again.

   We both ordered the pork belly eggs bene, with a side of sausage to share. Two sausages are included in the side, and was a perfect way to fill out the main. This served as brunch for my wife and I, and was completely delicious. Plating was exquisite, and the flavours phenomenal. Very thankful to have had this experience!

   To the owner, I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience at your cafe. It was my partner's birthday, and we decided to have brunch at your establishment. The initial service was pleasant, with attentive staff taking care of us. We placed an order that included a steak, along with other dishes and drinks. However, there was a hiccup when the steak arrived cooked to a medium-rare temperature, which I couldn't eat. I kindly mentioned this to our waitress, who offered to replace the meal. I was even willing to have the steak cooked a bit more to avoid wasting food, but was informed that wasn't possible and that a replacement would take time. We decided not to wait and were understanding of the mistake. The situation took a disappointing turn during the payment process, where your duty manager displayed rudeness. She insisted that we pay for the uneaten steak, despite the fact that we didn't consume it at all. This led to a frustrating and unnecessary argument that lasted around 10-15 minutes. It was disheartening to experience this kind of service, as we were essentially being charged for a mistake that originated from the cafe. This incident had a negative impact on what was supposed to be a special day, and it was the first time I've encountered a cafe charging for a meal that was not consumed due to their own oversight. I hope that in the future, your staff can handle such situations with more understanding and consideration for the customer's experience

   Absolutely beautiful food - beautiful atmosphere and so modern. Nice friendly staff who are confident in what they’re doing and go above and beyond for you. My iced latte was delicious. Thanks so much for catering for vegans aswell, had a few options there :) will definitely go back when I’m in auckland again.

   Great to see a vibrant, buzzing cafe out this way. Generous servings sun friendly service, although my simple eggs on toast was a bit lackluster compared to every else’s more elaborate dish. Coffee (Americano) was tasty, good roast although one of my group said theirs tasted a bit burnt. Overall happy experience.

   Happy to recommend. Had a late lunch while waiting for kids to get out if school. Had the chicken and mushroom filo, heated. It was pretty good with decent chunks of chicken and yummy pesto sauce. Not dry and heated well through. Coffee seemed a bit small for a large but it was well made and properly too, not burnt or bitter. Had also the carrot cake, very juice, moist and very tasteful. All round a great place to come, have a coffee and watch the traffic speed by. Can get a bit noisy as you are on a main thoroughfare but still good if you sit inside.
