   Beware for food allergies I’m never one to share a negative review but I am really disappointed. I ordered a BLAT to takeaway with gluten free bread. As I got home I opened up the box and grabbed a couple of chips to eat as you do and thought they tasted battered. I rung to check and the lady who answered the phone said yes to gluten free bread and that the chips are just potato. After some discussion I was passed onto the chef who said the same thing, only on request did they check the ingredients as I asked to please make sure there is no batter on the chips to then be told actually yes, they do contain gluten. They apologised saying they are new chips but if someone orders gluten free bread and you work in a service industry, surely you are aware of the ingredients in the food you are serving. I have an allergy to wheat and this is the 2nd time this has happened to me in 10 years. Yes they tried to rectify it by offering me a free meal and apologising but unfortunately with an allergy I am left to suffer the consequences. Very fortunately my allergy isn’t severe enough to be anaphylactic, but I can see now checking the reviews this is not the first time this has happened and I would be very cautious with severe dietary requirements. I do not feel safe to dine here again.

   I just want to say.... Wow! The food was amazing!, everything was great. The service was excellent; every girl was very friendly and had a smile on her face. My coffee was perfect! Many times in cafes they don't prepare my coffee properly, which is made with coconut milk, but hereee, they did an amazing job with my coffee. This coffee shop is splendid, and I recommend it 100%

   In Kumeu its hard to find a relaxed Cafe. Meus has this in bundles with easy to find parking, set back from the main road. Meus served us excellent coffee. Poached eggs on toast cooked perfectly with pesto on the side with microgreens an edable flower was next level delicious. Service friendly and fast with table cleaned up quickly with clean surfaces. This is an excellent cafe and I'll be back for sure.

   The Meus Cafe is such a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy decor and adorable decorations that make the space feel welcoming and unique. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing meal or catching up with friends. We ordered the pasta and eggs benedict, and both were absolutely delicious. The pasta was packed with fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection, while the eggs benedict had crispy hash cakes, perfectly poached eggs, and a flavorful hollandaise sauce. For drinks, we had the iced chocolate and iced matcha latte – both were refreshing and delightful. The iced chocolate was rich and creamy with a generous topping of whipped cream, and the iced matcha latte had a smooth, balanced flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. Parking was also convenient, which is a big plus. On top of everything, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, this was such a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

   We haven't been here for a long time so thought we'd give it a go. We both had eggs bene with salmon, which was really delicious. Loved the beetroot hummus and pesto, they really added something to the meal. Really enjoyed the coffee too, perfect temperature and strength and it really hit the spot! Friendly service, and it wasn't long before being fed made this an enjoyable breakfast outing. I definitely think we'll return. Thanks to the team at Meus!

   A solid local cafe, good food and coffee. Good for what is it, however is let down on price, and ambiance somewhat. Seems a little over-staffed with 3 people doing nothing behind the register, but better than being the opposite way around I guess.

   We accidentally found this place during our visit to Kumeu Subway and it resulted too good for us. We had some breakfast and light munching and it didn't disappoint us. Egg Bene was too good. Although the base muffin was quite small but green sauce was a nice complement. Pancakes were too good and berry syrup was yummmm. I highly recommend if u r near Kumeu.
