   Amazing food! The laksa and chicken curry is a must try if you don't know what to order. The mee goreng is also a very good choice. If you're looking for authentic Malaysian food in Wellington, this is the place to stop by. I'm looking forward to try this place's dinner menu too.

   Awesome fresh tasty food, well priced. Quick service and LongBar is always pumping at lunchtime. Just love your Traditional Nasi Lemak - just devine. Have been to Longbar a few times over past 2 months and everyone ive been with had great meals and enjoyed it.

   Absolutely flawless, perfect 5 stars! Despite arriving quite late, around 8 pm, I was greeted warmly by the staff, all with genuine smiles. The restaurant's atmosphere was cozy and spotlessly clean, with plenty of seating available. The menu was impressively extensive, and the staff graciously guided me through the options with clear explanations. Opting for (Hainanese) chicken rice, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived promptly in just 5 minutes. The presentation was stunning, and the taste surpassed all expectations. The chicken was juicy and bursting with flavour, complemented perfectly by the fresh and crispy fried onions, freshest sliced cucumber and the subtly tangy soy-based sauce. The homemade chili sauce was also very authentic and a delightful touch. The accompanying chicken soup was also delicious and showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. At $22, the meal was not only delicious but also amazingly good value. Both the attentive waitstaff and the friendly chef made me feel incredibly welcome, leaving me eager to return. With so many enticing dishes left to try, I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

   I ordered curry laksa which is nice but there is confusion around pricing of this thing so beware. On their website, it states $16.50 which is what I thought I would pay, but I was charged $19.90 and been told what's on the website is old price from before 2020. I trusted this and paid for my meal, but then scrolling through door dash app it showed this dish to be $18.90 and so does another customer's menu photo from just a year ago. I don't know if I can trust any price I see now with this place.

   Haven't been there for long time I was pleasantly surprised by the food this time. They were so busy at Friday lunch time and I was so lucky to get a table without booking. Their place is noisy but luckily I could hear my friend easily. Their signature noodles were way better than what I remember, so yummy. I'm impressed by their service too with so many orders the food still arrived pretty on time.

   Highly recommend! My partner shared a Teh Tarik, Roti w Vege Gravy, and a vegetarian Mee Goreng for dinner. The Teh Tarik was glorious. Delicious aroma and classically sweet and bitter! Their Mee Goreng had great char (hei) flavour and aroma. It was a dry Mee Goreng but there was a delicious sauce lightly coating everything. The tofu skin gave a creamy teaxture to the dish. Phenomenal Mee Goreng! It’s currently my favourite Mee Goreng in Wellington (out of five). The dish was $20.50 on the 11/03/23 Mee Goreng (Vegetarian): Egg Noodles, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Sprouts, Todi Skin, Egg, Spring Onion, Fried Onions.
