   My first time purchasing from Hype. I purchased some sox online, website super easy to use. Once I arrived instore, I was greeted by all staff members. The assistance I received when discussing my order was fabulous. Staff went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase and the sizing.

   Purchased a pair of shoes from this store and they over charged me! Didn’t give me a copy of the receipt asked if it was ok to email it and I stupidly agreed. After realising I was over charged I repeatedly called the store to ask for a refund of the difference only to be told someone would call me back and it never eventuated. I would have returned but I live 4hrs drive away. Very poor service almost dishonest if yo ask me.

   Hi, yesterday evening I went to hype in Albany mall in North-shore Auckland, I saw a Nike shoes I really liked, I went to the checkout and informed the girl at the checkout “can you please put this on hold for me and I’ll be back to get it” she stated “we can only hold for a day and not any longer” I informed her “I only want it on hold for today I’ll be back soon to get it” so she agreed and put it on hold for me I gave the shoes to her and she put it aside for me. After 2 hours I went to get the shoes , A guy who works there came to me as he was the one who brought my size of the shoes out from the back, I told him “ I had put the shoes on hold for a few hours, I am back to get it now “ he looked and stated “oh I am sorry the shoes is not here it’s sold I cannot find it, we only have size 6 now” I stated “how is this possible?, I specifically put it on hold and said I’ll be back today to get it”, he stated “sorry I don’t know” and left to deal with other customers while I was still waiting there for his help!!!…..another lady who was working there came to me after seeing me standing for so long “I explained to the situation about the shoes” she stated “ I am so sorry this happened to you, this shouldn’t have happened while I had put it on hold” I asked for the girl who put the shoes on hold for me, and I was told that she’s finished her shift and she was the one who had bought the shoes I put on hold for myself she bought the shoes for herself and went home. “ I was so shocked, like how can a worker do this to her customer?, are the shoes getting sold for workers? Or customers? When I had specifically put the shoes on hold for myself…..the other lady managed to find the shoes for me in another store which is 2hours away and I have to drive all that way to get it now, just because of the worker. As I needed this shoes urgently before Christmas. I had a really bad experience yesterday with the service and lack of professional skills. Only 1 lady was able to help me who took time to find the shoes in another store and get it on hold for me so I can pick up today. But still I am not happy with what has happened to me. I do hope that you do take some action against this so it does not happen again to any other customers.
