   I have been told there's new owners. Not only did they give Uber the wrong order but there was no way of determining that it was Bento Bowl. No branding, just a brown paper bag, plain brown food containers and stone cold. Food went straight to the bin didn't look like any Bento I have ordered before and as the order was wrong I weren't sure if it would trigger allergies. My reorder from Katsubi was delicious

   Restaurant was very unhelpful in resolving a Uber query, food was never delivered and Bento Bowl said its not their problem. Why do they contract with Uber eats as a supplier and then tell the consumer it's not their problem. The lady from Bento Bowl couldn't even speak proper English which made it even more frustrating. Uber driver very unprofessional and rude, did not make any effort to resolve my issue. Very poor service and sad that vendors accept no responsibility beyond taking your money.

   Was so disappointed to get all the way home and see that the food i got was incorrectly labelled. I usually love this place but looks like someone mucked up and now i have to eat something i didn't want in the first place. I got katsu chicken only to get home and see its normal chicken. Very disappointed !!

   For a sushi chain, this place is excellent. Sushi chef is ready to make to order, he and the team provide a friendly service too. Lovely seating area. Plenty of parking. Lots of options to fit your tastebuds. Make sure to pickup chopsticks though, they don't assume you want them so you need to pack them in yourself.

   Really great bento bowl however super pricey for a small spoon of chicken, 1 cup of rice, a small portion of vegetables, and a drizzle of mayo. We had intended to share the meal at the price, but between two you need to buy one each, and even one bento for one person many would feel let down. May have been just the staff on, as I write this review I see other photos that look better proportioned than the meal we received. Unsure if I would order the bento again based on my experience. Sushi is a safer bet here.

   Lovely franchise chain located in Whangaparoa. Very clean and nice service. Recommend to try the Tofu Teriyaki rice bowl!
