“Good morning Katie and Team, I had the BEST experience at Papamoa Refinery Studios! I was in town visiting family and needed a hair colour touch-up, so I searched online and came across their glowing reviews. Booking an appointment was so easy, and I received an immediate confirmation. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed as a friend. The lovely staff offered me a cup of tea and a cookie, which was such a thoughtful touch. My stylist, Katie, was absolutely amazing! She carefully matched my hair colour to the chart and made me feel like a total VIP. I even got to relax under a warm woollen blanket whilst my colour set — such a cosy detail. “Amazing service, staff members and results! We couldn’t ask for anything more! We’ve been going to Refresh for about 8 months whilst living in Papamoa. Whether it be nails, waxing, shaping or anything else Gill and the gils have treated us like queens! Walking into refresh is the most welcoming and non judgemental beauty salon I’ve ever been too, certainly beating out some of the top Salons in London. No matter who you are or what you look like the girls are there to make you feel like you belong and there is zero judgement which I personally was very appreciative about! The girls are extremely well versed in beauty treatments, work hard and are definitely worthy of medals when they figure out how to make us look human again after months of travelling. We are very sorry to not be visiting again for a while due to moving overseas but they’ll be the first stop when we return to Papamoa. She is clearly an expert in what she does and loves what she does too. Her prices are competitive especially considering her skill and equipment.
