I'm glad I chose Bladez Barbers at Fashion Island on Gravatt Road in Papamoa as my new barber. Arun and the team know their craft and, with very little guidance, give me great haircuts! With swift accuracy, he's a perfectionist! I highly recommend Arun at Bladez Barbers in Papamoa! ;-)

They advertise opening at 8am and three of us including one in a wheelchair) waited until at least 20 past and nobody turned up. I have never had a complaint about the quality of the service but they have now lost a long-term customer Thank you for your apology and explanation. Perhaps changing the opening time to 8:30 might give you a bit more flexibility. I have now updated my review and given you a five star rating and you have retained me as a customer after all
Theresa does a lovely job of cutting my hair with scissors, managing to work around a receding hairline/widowβs peak (Iβm 44) very nicely, and leaving a great texture as well as being neat and tidy. Deanne is also very good, takes extra care, both are so friendly and genuine. Affordable and recommended!

Rocked into the shop 28/1/23 and I was called straight to the chair. First thoughtsβ¦ never happened to me before. The brother lined me up and did a mean job. Usually Iβm just a sale and moved on. I really appreciated the time and care he took on my cut. Even tidied up parts of my head Iβve never had cut. I hit him up about the ol eye brows too and his thoughts, next minute I had my brows trimmed for the first time lol. Thanks heaps brother, sorry I didnβt get your name but blades has a loyal customer thanks to the bro.
A busy shop is a good indication of its reputation & this one lives up to all expectations. The Hairdressers (barbers) are friendly, skilled and professional. I will be making this place my local barber. I will highly recommend them to all my connections. Best to get there early if you don't want to spend time waiting.
I visited for the first time by mistake , The boy working there doesn't even know how to use the machine on hair I think he did experiment on my hair to learn something. Bad experience for me ever if you dont know how to work better sit at home if someone pays 40$ for hair cutting they want something good to see. (. Unprofessional staff) . Avoid there to go somewhere else .
Was in the Bay for a few days and Needed A haircut. Word of Mouth was told a female barber in Papamoa by the Name of Jazz does awesome Barber Cuts and Fades. So I Went to the Bladez Barber Shop to see for myself and wow was amazed with my Haircut and Fade. Along with the great humor. I Will be definitely coming back for another haircut. Thank you for the Awesome haircut. Totally recommend Guys try Bladez Barber Shop you won't be disappointed
