Whilst the HOKA shoe gave me 6 years of great support, Simon's assessment showed a much needed customised orthotic as the 'rocker' in the HOKA shoe whilst great, had caused a loss in foot mobility. Combined with my chiropractor, physio and Simon - I am now walking pain-free and my hip is fantastic!”

“Trendez was where I got my first ear piercings over 20 years ago, and it has come a long way since then! The shop is beautifully set out, it feels relaxed and open (which is really appreciated for someone like me with social anxiety). The range of jewellery is incredible! There is absolutely something for everyone and at really good prices! But it's definitely the staff that make it such a great store. They are approachable and friendly, they don't make you feel rushed, and they aren't pushy. I just had a stacked helix done today and Lenny my piercer was fantastic. “I cannot recommend Maxine and The Shoe Room enough! I live in Auckland and I emailed about about an in home shoe fitting for a wheelchair bound elderly relative in Christchurch. He also has medical issues with his swollen feet. After liaising about what was required, Maxine had ordered other styles to try, visited, fitted and ensured they were comfortable. She left my relative with information relating to the breaking in of the footwear. Maxine also sent me images of them on him. This has taken a lot of stress off myself and the relative! No normal shoe stores had the specialised requirements for him. THANK YOU Maxine for going over and above the lacklustre personal service that seems to be offered by most businesses these days.”
