Magnificent! I was truly blown away by my one night stay here, beautiful characterful accommodation with everything you could possibly want. Lots and lots of space, and in a beautiful quiet rural location. Wish I was staying a week rather than just a single night. Washing machine was super handy too.
The host Steve is nice and communicatable. We were surprised by the abundant breakfast ingredients offered by Steve. The equipments in this house are convient. The decorations are beautiful. Staying in a storytelling house which used to be a school was special. We had a great stay in The Old School House!
We loved our 4 night stay and could have stayed longer. Large cottage, great hosts, nice bed and facilities. We slept well and loved the free range eggs! It is a good base for exploring locally and we climbed Mt Kakepuku, went to Cambridge and Raglan.
Second visit for Mummy and I. It was an unveiling the next day, and we wanted to be closer to the marae. I liked everything about this school house. The hosts had freshly baked bread, eggs, and milk waiting for us. If you want to chill before moving on, then this is where you'll get it. I love this place.
Super cute! The old school house is perfectly decorated to match the era. Clean, tidy and warm. Greeted with a lovely freshly baked loaf of bread. Loved our stay.

Beautifully made beds - everything spotlessly clean. Freshly baked loaf of bread was presented to us not long after our arrival. Another surprise of fresh farm eggs in the fridge. Highly recommend this beautiful abode
So very private, quiet and restful. Everything you could ever need is close at hand. The fresh cooked bread was a pleasant surprise and the home baked Afghan biscuits were the best we have ever had! We cannot recommend this acomadation highly enough!
We had a great time. The little house is nicely decorated with a vintage feel. Super clean, elegant and cosy. We would love to return! The homemade cookies and freshly made bread gave it a special touch. The bed was comfortable, the views are spectacular! 10/10.
