“A nice Turkish restaurant just on the corner behind queens street. There is ample seating space for indoor dining as well as some space for outdoor dining while sitting on the street. The menu is pretty large and enough vegetarian options are available in all types of pizzas, Turkish Pide, and sandwiches along with sandwiches. The Shwarmas and Pizza are really good. Staff is really nice and the service was very fast. Parking is a challenge around this area as it is on a busy junction, so you need to park a bit far for street parking or in a parking lot around the city center. Nice Halal place to grab a bit while roaming Auckland city center. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.”

“seriously such good value for money! if you come here around lunch time you can get a really good portion of pasta for around $15 which in this economy is an absolute steal! my friends had the bolognese and lasagna while i had the prawn risotto and they absolutely do not skimp out on flavour or portion sizing despite the cheap pricing. staff are also very lovely and always smiling which is always a huge plus :)”

“I'm from out of town, was passing through Mangere, spotted the takeaway and stopped to get a feed for the family. First, was very impressed at how clean the store was. Ordered a usual amount of food that we get from the takeaway back home, around $30. Oriental's prices were about the same as back home. But the amount of food they gave me was enormous. About twice as many chips as I was expecting! And they were good chips too. Very generous portion sizes.”

“My son started playing T-ball about 4-5 weeks ago & when he finished we decided to get dinner in Mangere Bridge. We couldn't decide what to buy so we just went off by a gut feeling to go with Butter Chicken. I'm glad we did cause it is absolutely yummy. We buy the two curry combo for our family (2x adults 3x kids) & it is more than enough for us. We sometimes have leftovers if my daughter doesn't eat it all. So now every Friday Butter Chicken Factory is our go to place for dinner.”
