“Perfect location and size for my son's 21st. They already have lights, screen, mic, Ipad for music (or DJ booth) set up - too easy. You can bring in your own food or pre-order bar snacks from Dakota downstairs. Amazing staff, especially George who took care of everything on the night, nothing was too much trouble. I hired The Powwow Room (and mirrorme photo booth) through The Wellington Entertainment Group. Nik and Zak were extremely helpful and communicative in the weeks leading up to the party. Would recommend.”

“Came here for the dinner buffet. For $25, it was very worth it! Food included crumbed fish, pork schnitzel, creamy chicken drumsticks, sausages and lamb ribs. All tasted very homely. The highlight was definitely the pastries! So crispy and warm. We also got the cheaper parking rates from the hotel which was a bonus as weekday city parking is usually pricey. Would highly recommend”

The Kebab came out before I could sit down, To say the service was outstanding is an understatement. My first bite left me wondering if I should get up & order a second (the portion to price was definitely correct) it was absolutely delicious. They paid for a professional shoot but what they got looks like a 5 year old took the pics. If the photographer is reading this feedback...do the right thing and set it right oh yeah and give yourself 10000000 upper cuts. Staff were awesome as well. “The Law Courts Hotel is a lucky find for us and anyone else who wants to camp in the middle of Dunedin. Perfectly located a couple of hundred metres from the Octagonal. Surrounded by any number of great cafes, restaurants, shopping, museums and event centres. An added bonus is the pub style restaurant which is part of the bar downstairs. Well priced (we were initially attracted by a special deal) the lower levels have just undergone a major renovation with updates planned for rooms ahead. Due this, I rate the room as a 4 star with a dated shower but superking bed was comfortable and new. Establishment well managed and maintained. Highly recommended. This is our new favourite downtown overnight stop. P”
