Great cocktails, and they didn't take forever to get made. I love that they have a menu but are very willing and able to make your favs not listed (Moscow Mule for me). Nice atmosphere, comfy seats. You know you're in a classy, adult place when the tea lights on the tables are actual candles and not just LED fakes.
Great night spent at Ernest. Awesome atmosphere, good vibe and sensational cocktails!!!! We relied on Roberto’s recommendations for our cocktails and he delivered the goods 100%!!! Would definitely go back again and sit at bar to enjoy watching the cocktails being prepared with enthusiasm. Thanks for looking after us at the bar! Cheers
The best cocktail bar in Hamilton! Really good in winter with the fire and heaters and really comfy sofas that you won’t want to get up from! Also did a great cocktail making event here. Haven’t eaten here yet but definitely would recommend for a few cocktails!
My partner and I have been here a few times now and every time we have had outstanding service. The owner is super welcoming and meets you at the door. The cocktail menu is incredible, by now we've tried most of them and every one has been wonderful. Special shout out to the Tequila old fashioned and miss moonshine. The food is also amazing, and served till closing. There always seems to be specials on offer. General good vibes throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a chilled environment with great food and drinks.
After bar hopping for a few hours we came to Ernest, on entry greeted by the owner Craig at the door. Most welcoming place we visited, the drinks were spot on, the waitress Heidi was delightful and nothing was too much trouble. I wish more places in Auckland took note of their values and business model. Stunning place, great vibe.... Would recommend to anyone in Hamilton if you wanted a laid back cocktail or just a friendly place to hang out!! Cheers team! Will definately be back tomorrow night.
