“My youngest child began school at Onekawa at age 5. He is "high functioning Autistic". Within 3 weeks, he went from knowing most of the alphabet, to being able to read pretty well. He also became highly accurate in maths. He gained a great deal of self-confidence from the excellent positive reinforcement given from teachers and aides. He also learned to swim!! All this in only 3 months experience! We had to return to the United States (where we are from) due to not being able to secure long-term work. The US public schools have been a great disappointment in comparison.”
“We have worked with Hotshot Sports Equipment happily for a few years now, they are very easy to communicate with. Fantastic team and products, would highly recommend!”
“Best school out! I went to Porritt as a child, and also chose Porritt for my daughters primary years. So many teachers were still there from my days! My daughter is now at high school and absolutely thriving thanks to the good start she received at Porritt.”
At Zabeels Sports Bar & TAB, the menu stays kebab and pita, served with an easygoing pace. Music and pace keep a casual tone. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Sauces stay in check and wraps hold together.
“Lovely little school. Amazing teachers. Probably the school with the best view in the country!”
“Fun,amazing, the perfect school for the perfect people”
“We've been very happy with the quality of education offered here.”
“Pretty average school . Made heaps of friends. Mad they let Mr crafar leave, he was good as. Some of the room quality's are pretty bad, with teared curtains dirty desks etc. They build big new buildings yet hardly anyone has classes in there, or even gets to see/visit inside. Canteen fabulous, they have big waffles for $2. They had new dishes everyday like macaroni and cheese, pizza, salads. For all you intermediate and primary school kids, yes there is juicys and mooses here and other ice creams. Exams are scary and some teachers are useless. Except Mr lowes he is funny as, and nice, same as Mr Crafar, and Mr searle. Mrs mannings gives out snacks in earth and space if you ask, she is terrific.”
“Cool head master great teachers”
“This is the Meanee Hall next to the school where the Spin In was held today.”
“Excellent service and a great meal”
“The best Primary school in the World!”

“One of the Best School in Napier”
“We've just finished our first term of toddler swimming lessons with Teenica at Splash Swim School. We have loved it and will definitely be back next term (and the term after, and the term after...). Great staff, well paced lessons and really good to know the skills being practiced and developed through the different activities. We have especially enjoyed the variety and equipment used, a toddler's dream!”
“Mike K was too good. Felt zero pressure on the road with him and always good for a bit of banter while also getting the most out of your lesson. Made me feel super confident heading into my restricted test.”
“My 2 grandchildren, 3 & 4 years old, love their swimming lessons and have made such good progress at Jillyfish. Reece has a great style of teaching...patient and encouraging and makes the lessons fun. Definitely recommend Jillyfish!”
“Excellent service and great product supplied. Will definitely return”
