They take great pride in the food that they produce and it is always super fresh, so tasty and we always leave feeling satisfied. This is one of those places that looks quiet and non descript from the outside-when what it is, is a hidden gem and more people should lining up to try this awesome food.”

“We were in Te Aroha visiting the hot pools and decided we wanted to go somewhere for lunch. I googled lunch stops, and this place popped up. It was such an amazing recommendation!! From the moment we arrived we were really impressed with the cafe/restaurant. The building itself is beautiful, and the dining area is so large and pretty. The tables are beautiful, solid wood, and the chairs are very comfy. We loved the atmosphere!! Straight away, the service was amazing. We were seated, served our drinks and and food within 20 minutes. They had a great kids menu with delicious options - the menu can be coloured on and has some fun activities too! Our meals were delicious - I highly recommend the chicken flat bread! I shared it with my mum, and it was a huge portion. The meal arrived fresh and hot, and the chicken was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. My husband ordered the steak sandwich and loved the flavors. We shared some deserts from the cabinet - and I can say the custard square was so yummy! Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful! Would 1000% recommend coming here for lunch! It's a beautiful spot inside and outside.”

“Nice little hidden secret spot. Really relaxed not really overtly Asian formal layout. Casual seating with a lot of space between tables. The food was really filling. I recomend the Sans dumplings and the shrimp wonton noodle soup. I am ADDICTED to and highly RECCOMEND the pan bread. Eaten hot the buttery tastes with the chives inside I ate mostly by myself. (I had to share) The service was quick we were the only ones there. So may be a wait if there are groups or table serving. Fully enjoyed the meal and will be back soon. Thank you.”

“Amazing little takeaway shop. Bought burgers, fish n chips, garlic prawns with noodles and fried rice. Value for money, lots of flavour, decent portions. “Might have already posted a review, apologies if I have. It's unlikely to be much different if I did though. I've been going to Curry King for longer than the current owners have been there, longer than the current name... at least sixteen years. Occasionally as much as twice a month, but more usually probably about once every three months or so. If I ever win lotto it'd be a lot more though! I can still honestly say it's my favourite Indian restaurant in Hamilton, and also that they have NEVER disappointed us. At WORST, we've tried a new dish that sounded great, and tasted pretty good, but turned out not to be quite what we felt like having after all. So more of 'an us problem' for sure. I now can't bring myself to eat Indian at a mall foodcourt because I know it'll only disappoint me after knowing Curry King quality. Guaranteed to make me hungry if I think about it for too long. Like now, dammit.”

“Went to Sal's the other week with my family and it really is just an honest to goodness pizza place. Great food, fair price, and generally just a good experience. The staff were friendly and really patient with us when we stumbled on our order a bunch. Personally I'm a huge fan of the general vibe and aesthetic of the place, somehow it adds to the flavour- all in all it's a place I'm keen to eat at some other time that I'm in town! I mean the half and half pizza alone is SO worth it.”
