“Honestly cannot believe that there isn’t 100 5 star reviews for this kindy! I cannot even begin to express how excellent the teachers here are. They are all so focused on working with the child and going at their pace with learning and social development. We came to Port Charmer’s Kindergarten from a private preschool and the preschool we came from was awful- the teachers didn’t care about the children, busy and overwhelming environments and forever changing faces. But the day we moved him here we noticed such a drastic change in his behaviour, happiness and social development- These guys are absolute masterminds. Honestly wish that we found this place sooner! They’re such a cool wee community and have regular outings which is so neat! They have great availability here we have found- which is REALLY hard to find. They’re so open and flexible and we just love it here. Sometimes I have to fight with my son to get him to leave this place at the end of the day! Whereas at our first preschool he was counting down the seconds until he got to go home. Coming from an ECE Teacher myself- after being at this place, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my child or be at any other centre. These guys deserve all the stars in the world!”

“I highly recommend Dunedin Futsal Academy. My son has been attending all year, and also had Maxi come in and take a lesson during his birthday party. My sons skills have improved hugely this year. Maxi is a wonderful coach. He's brilliant with kids - he's kind, encouraging, and offers critique in a helpful and meaningful way. “I had my drum kit tuned because the kit did not feel right and the toms were rattling after I hit them. After the tuning the difference in the kit was huge. The snare sounds and feels much better, the toms sound great and don't buzz any more. They also looked at the drum pedal and adjusted it so I now feel more comfortable doing faster bass drum sequences.”

“The school teaches salsa, zouk, samba, bachata, kizomba, rueda and forro. The teachers, Emily, Augusto, and Ariel, are all quite lovely and so is the enthusiastic community that they've built up around the club. The classes are usually taught in blocks of 4-5 weeks and reasonably priced. The emphasis is on getting a solid grounding in the basics and then encouraging improvisation on these basic steps. This leads to less formulaic dancing and more interesting, individual styles within the community. Highly recommended!”
