Top rate builder as well as excellent repair work. Moving from the states I had no idea that a world class luthier would be right down the road in Dunedin and had no hesitation in entrusting my prize guitar to Steve and he did not disappoint. Finding luthiers with his level of ability and clearly an ear for tone is sometimes difficult. I was quick to see that he has the awareness of detail that you would expect from someone not only versed in building but playing as well. I am pleased to know that a luthier of this calibre is right in our back yard and look forward to all future interaction with Steve.
