My 2-year-old son made significant improvements on his overall health after the surgery. Less sickness, sleep better, being a much happier boy he should be.......We see these each day and say to ourselves, we glad we did the surgery. Definitely it was not scary as it sounds like, It is super helpful for the child. Dr. Colin's assistant Olwyn is amazing, she is always great with communication, very kind, warm and approachable. Even I did lots of research on the treatment, but still had real difficulty in making the decision. But Olwyn is always there listen, answer my questions, reassure me. It really helps!!! “Three weeks after my injury I had an appointment with Matthew at the Millenium Center. He acted really professional and did some tests with my knee. After the tests he said that I had to do an MRI to confirm what he already thought: my left ACL was completely ruptured. After the diagnosis he and his secretary acted really fast, he checked if my knee was strong enough for a surgery, he said that I would be ready in 4 weeks if I would train with the physiotherapist. We planned the surgery in 5 weeks so I had some extra time to regain my strength in my muscles. The surgery went really good and fast, I stayed 1 night at the hospital and then they discharged me. I saw him a few weeks after the surgery, he was really positive about the progress that I made and he encouraged me to continue at this rate. Right now it is 2 months after the surgery, I walked like I used to do before the surgery, but he was really strict that I couldn't play football again till at least 9 months because the ligament needs time to regain strength. The scars that I have are really small. I don't have any other experience with surgents but I think that Matthew is a really good surgent. He knows what he is doing, he is positive and he is a very nice and social guy. Thanks!”
