“My two children LOVE it here! They learn so much and have gained so many new friends that they rave on about in high regard. The teachers are so beautiful in the way they teach and nurture our children. Since attending this childcare centre my babies have excelled so much in general, from the way they communicate to singing songs and even reading/familiarising themselves with particular words and spelling. It's been amazing to watch the staff here implement everything that's done at home and even taught me ideas, as a solo Mum, on what else I can do, just by seeing how much my babies enjoy the work and play they do here at Early Discoveries. My neice and nephews have attended in previous years and have only amazing and treasured memories of the place. From previous staff to new staff employed, they all have the same nature about them and genuinely work together to aim for the best start our babies can have before heading off to big school. I would reccomend this centre 100% to any parent wanting the best, love felt environment for their children, where they have firm attentive teachers/carers who balance your child's experience with freedom to explore, to learn and have fun!”

“Absolutely love this daycare. My daughter has been here for just under a year and is now venturing off into primary next week. I love that this daycare incorporates te ao maori and is culturally diverse in general. It is always clean and tidy, and the environment has such a welcoming energy. I appreciate all the kaiako here, they are always smiling and have held some awesome whanau/tamariki events since we have been here. They open nice and early and are quite flexible also. I appreciate that they provide kai also. My daughter talks about Mokopuna every day when she comes home from school and it is always positive stories about her friends, kaiako or what she got up to at school. I havent experienced a negative situation at all here. Enrolment was quick and easy, induction was for 1 day and it didnt take my girl long to settle in. We will really miss Mokopuna ki Roscommon. If you have pepi and are looking forsomewhere for your kids, I recommend this centre. Based in Manurewa, Auckland.”

“We love this Playcentre! There's something for every child, from the playground, to the arts and crafts, books, cooking, water play, messy play. My child has a great time learning with other kids, and I get to interact with other adults. Highly recommend.”

“The Secret Garden is awesome, the staff are warm and friendly and the care and attention they give each individual child is second to none. The children are constantly learning so many different things, both physically and academically in such a fun, hands on and stimulating environment. Preparation for school is outstanding. I am a grandparent of a child here, and every day he asks if today is a preschool day as he would be there 24/7 if he could! I am very grateful to all the staff and so thankful that he attends this wonderful positive adventure of preschool at The Secret Garden.”

“Kindercare is the best learning center, I always felt my baby was happy, healthy, safe, and LOVED. This daycare has the best, most caring, and loving teachers. The administration is also great! “Casa Montessori is one of the best Montessori pre school that i have seen in New Zealand. Teachers are excellent l, caring loving and very organised, environment is really tidy and clean and also methodical. My son loved going to Casa everyday and he was well prepared for the school by the teachers. Centre manager Sonali was amazing and very kind a caring soul. The learning stories were amazing as they were really comprehensive and detailed with plenty of pictures and i loved reading them when there were uploaded. They had a practical skills area, science, maths language and literacy, so STEAM activities, music, painting, geography & physical activities too. They even did baking , making dumplings with kids.. i have never found a place like Casa Montessori even in the south island of New Zealand to enrol my daughter after my son . I think Casa Montessori has set the bar very high for all the Montessori preschools around New Zealand. Well done! Keep up the good work Casa Montessori! Love this place so much Highly recommend them to everyone all in all great place❤️”

“This is an awesome kindy. It's not for profit which was important for me - that means it's not being run as a business, which unfortunately many centres in Manurewa are. The staff are loyal to the centre, they are happy and they love the kids. They pay attention to what the kids like and make activities just for them - they have a massive storeroom of activities so it changes all the time. The outdoor area is amazing - go and visit and you'll see. I know my kids are cared for and safe at this centre - thanks kiddywinks :)”

“My kids love it here, best place for them. Is a bit different to a kindy in that the parents are the educators. There is quite a bit of commitment required to do all the training but is nzqa qualified. Also as you progress you have to do office holder roles which take time, but for the joy of spending time with your kids and with other people's kids and getting to know the community is well worth it.”

“I don’t think I can put in words what an amazing role Vintage kids has played in our family. Both our kids attended, we fell in love with the place on our first visit. I imagine a visit is all that’s needed for anyone looking for a nurturing environment for their children. The teachers went above ant beyond from day one up til the final day before our kids left for school.”

“We love Kohi Montessori! The teachers go above and beyond for the children and the ratios are nice and low. My daughter loves the big outdoor area where I see all the kids running round, playing tag, soccer, sprinklers in summer, playing on moon-hoppers, and more. They also prepare the children for school with skills like writing their names, teaching independence and sending home little readers. I highly recommend to all.”

The amazing, dedicated teachers, along with the interesting materials, naturally inspire learning and spark the imagination. “The Children's Cnr is such an amazing school and by far the best! My eldest daughter went through so many transitions in her short life and the teachers helped her through. The environment is a calm place allowing my daughter the best possible learning experience. He ability to communicate, interact, problem solve and self help skills has increased dramatically since attending this school.”

“My youngest has been with Kumeu childcare centre since he was 7 months old. He's 3 years old now. Leaving him in care was so hard and something I truly didn't want to do, but I'm sure a lot of us can relate to needing to work to get by. The teachers in the baby room were reassuring and loving. They worked with me to make us both comfortable. They allowed him the space to explore his interests, which can't have been easy as they mostly circled around how fast and how high could he go. He's been through the middle room and is now in the big kids room and the experience has been consistent. Collaboration, genuine care. My little boy is a bundle of energy, hes fast, hes daring, hes loud, and they honour this in him and provide a safe environment to develop in. Both the teaching and administration team have shown great care and compassion for us both over the years and I am so grateful to them all for taking such good care of my wee man.”

“I cannot recommend Plum Tree preschool highly enough! We’ve done a lot of research and trialing at the nearby daycares and Plum Tree was by far the best one for us. The most amazing, warm and caring teachers! Lots of nature based play and engaging activities.”
