All the staff are highly professional and provide excellent care, supporting my child’s developmental journey. A special acknowledgment goes to Mel and Michelle, who are truly exceptional individuals and consistently go above and beyond for the children.”

“Had a wonderful experience today at Escapade! They had a variety of options to choose from for escape rooms. We went into the Old School 2 and had a blast. You’re able to either walk in or book in advance, with plenty of times available. The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better! I’m definitely going to return.”

“We had so much fun and they allowed us to start at same time as we had to have two groups. Was a little bit hot. Don't be too cocky before you start...we didn't make it and the boys beat the girls. Awesome fun though”

“First and foremost the educators at Magic Kingdom in Blockhouse Bay are the most wonderful, genuinely caring nurturers. My little ‘pandemic baby’ had a total of three play dates before starting daycare at 11 months old and they made they transition for him (and me!) a positive and stress free experience. The core values and beliefs of Magic Kingdom align to my own as a parent, and knowing that my child is receiving a quality education based on those principles is important. I feel that the educators are just as invested in my child’s growth as a whole person, as I am. “We’ve had a fantastic experience with Kiddie Garden Learning Corner! The teachers are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s growth and happiness. My child loves going every day and has learned so much—from creative activities to social skills. The environment is safe, nurturing, and well-organized, with plenty of engaging activities that keep the kids excited. Communication with parents is also excellent, keeping us updated on our child’s progress. The kids are very well fed too. My child doesn’t come home hungry in the evening, and that’s a great relief to know that the kids are fed frequent and adequately. I highly recommend Kiddie Garden to any parent looking for a loving and enriching daycare experience!”

“My daughter start Best Start Manukau from 6 months of age and now she is turning 5 soon. I love to see my daughter looking forward to go to her preschool even on weekends. All of the staff at the centre are so loving and caring. I have seen my daughter growing up and achieving her milestones. They also do fantastic home cooked food each day , I can say there is a very family oriented atmosphere . “This place is awesome! Took four teenagers to a Sunday Battlestrike session for the first time. Dion was amazing, kitting the boys out and running the games. Having the new rental guns were cool. The participants, many of them with serious kit, were super friendly and accommodating, helping the teens on and off the playing fields. Highly recommend, will be back.”

“What a great and beautiful theatre the Civic is. It has so many spaces, and walking inside feels like being in a movie. It was also used by Peter Jackson to film King Kong, and today it hosts international shows. The place is very well kept, with respect for the time when it was built. The hall with its starry sky. The bronze. Everything always shining. Very recommended to visit.”

We only had to leave when we moved too far away. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and approachable. They took a genuine interest in my children’s passions and nurtured their curiosity and love for learning. My eldest son thrived in his love of writing, my daughter enjoyed assisting the teachers with everyday tasks, and my younger son loved exploring animals. The communication, both in person and online, was always clear and informative, making us feel included and up to date on everything important. “My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.”
