What an amazing service! I ordered Bobux shoes for my toddler and unfortunately received the wrong shoes in the correct box. The team at babies.co.nz went over and beyond for me to choose a different pair and Jen personally delivered it to us to ensure we had them here for Xmas!
Made order at 142pm on the 17th Oct 2025, through bank payment due to funds being in an account that wasnt associated with a bank card. At the time of my order I was under the impression it would be same day dispatch and was not aware they were at the Baby Expo (something I havent attended in 12yrs when it was the Child and Parent Show). I purchased the carseat I wanted as it was a good price and cheaper than other place, and with first purchase sign up got 5% off (I could of gone to a competitor if I wanted to who had it for same price). Unfortunately there was major issues with dispacting my order, I got notice of shipping but it hadnt been sent out. Many emails sent over a week and no soultion came forward. Made contact with courier who had been there daily and had nothing to collect me order. I even contacted my bank. I was stressing as I needed to send my carseat off to the manufacturer to be looked at and needed a seat to use. I waited another week with no communication and no delivery, ultimate it was agreed to have an upgrade of my seat due to supply issue of the seat I purchased changing designs and there being no stock avilable at the moment. Jen personally came out to my home and delivered it, installed it as well. She also took my 2yr old carseat with her on behalf of a competitor store I brought it from to drop into the manufacturer to take the middleman out of having to get it to them. With what I went through, its good to see they will be looking at implimenting changes in how things are handled and communications with customers especially around supply and demand and sales when they are at expos.
Absolutely cannot fault the service we received here! I emailed earlier in the week to enquire about the duration of a sale and they responded promptly. We went in today to purchase three car seats in order to fit three across in our vehicle. Jen served us and went absolutely above and beyond. She helped us to pick the right seats, talking us through pros and cons of a few seats, she then helped us to trial the fit for the three and then properly install all of them. All this on a stinking hot day, while being lovely to our two preschoolers. Thank you Jen for your amazing service, and thank you Babies NZ for your range of affordable, high quality carseats that enabled us to solve our three across dilemma without compromising on safety or having to remortgage the house! Highly, highly recommend!
Placed a few orders with these guys and their communication is always top-notch. Car seats were delivered promptly without issue. When I ordered a nappy bin it took a bit to arrive but they were helpful and offered to split my order so I could get the rest of it early.
Great range of products and even better customer service, which is rare these days. I’m not one to usually leave reviews but feel like this one is well deserved! The manager Jen is incredible, she is absolutely amazing at her job. Very knowledgeable and just goes above and beyond to help. Definitely recommend going here for all baby goods! came in today 26.04.23 and two lovely ladies helped me pick a new car seat. they were very knowledgeable on how each seat worked and the pro and cons of each one. once i purchased the seat they also installed it for me and took the time to show me how to adjust the straps. great customer service and my daughter is very happy with her new seat. highly recommend!
Very friendly staff. They helped me install the carseat at no extra cost which was a bonus along with the discounted price on the car seat, most shops said they won’t install and if they do install then there will be additional charges. Also got some good advice on how to keep the child safely in the seat. Highly recommended.
