“We recently celebrated my son’s 1st birthday here at Manukau chipmunks. I had the pleasure of working with Val(staff member) throughout the night. The place was beautifully cleaned up before our night started and our kids food boxes were ready when we needed them. Everything I asked from Val and her other co worker they had for me straight away. I am very grateful for letting us use your facilities. Thank you for being so lovely and understanding. Blessings”

“We had our sons 5th birthday party here. The facilities are very clean, you can sit and watch the kids easily. Lots to do, games, face painting, obviously the playground itself. The food was great in the café, as well as the party food we ordered. Would absolutely come back again.”

“Great golf course in summer at a reasonable price. Can get a little wet in winter, but still not as bad as some courses in Auckland. Challenging holes with some interesting OB carries. Plays like a mix between parkland and links.”

“I couldn’t speak more highly of A Child’s Place. We enrolled our one-year-old son after a tough experience at a previous centre, so I was naturally cautious. But Megan and the incredible infant room team went above and beyond to ensure he felt safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. One thing that really stood out to us was the primary caregiving model — having a consistent teacher who took the lead in building a strong bond with our son made a huge difference, especially as he wasn’t very familiar or comfortable with others in the beginning. He now looks forward to daycare each day — his face lights up at the mention of his teachers’ names, he runs off happily at drop-off, and I’m always greeted with the biggest smile at pick-up. The teachers are constantly engaged with the kids — whether they’re on the floor reading, outside exploring, or sitting alongside them at mealtimes, you can tell the care is genuine. The centre itself is always spotless and well-organised, and the team are incredibly responsive to any needs or changes we’ve raised. We were especially grateful for the support and advice they offered when we were navigating some sleep struggles. The care and attention to detail in sharing updates, milestones (big and small), and daily happenings make it feel like so much more than just childcare — it’s a true community and family. I’ll be forever grateful to Megan, Ross, and the team for creating such a warm, nurturing environment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend A Child’s Place to anyone”

“We have always felt like family here. My two boys attended from 2019-2024. The food is fab. The place is always clean. No need is too much hassle. All staff are caring and understanding. They match your sleep routine. The centre has many celebration days like Diwali, Chinese New Year, Valentines Day, Samoan language week, Matariki etc. The Christmas party is free and wonderful. Mr whippy on tap as well as bouncy castles and santa.”

“My daughter has been coming here for 5 months now - she is 2 years old. She absolutely loves it and it has been awesome to watch her confidence build since she started as well as listening to her sing the songs she's learned when she comes home. The staff are all fantastic, you can tell they are passionate about what they do and in caring for each child's individual needs. It always amazes me how calm and quiet the toddler room usually is and I feel this is a reflection of the great staff. They also helped hugely with my daughter's sleep and provided her cuddles and comfort with encouragement. Now she can go to sleep by herself :) Thank you!”

The kaiako take great care of my boy, and I love the high quality learning stories, the provocations, the beautiful large outdoor environment, the quality resources and healthy home cooked food. My son is absolutely thriving in such a sensitive period of his development and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else. He tells me about the bikes he rides, the sandpit, he sings songs and enjoys the extras that nobody else offers such as Tiny Yoga and Tiny Pet Day. I also love the special events they put on for Mothers Day/ Fathers Day, Xmas, Matariki and more. I feel like they go above and beyond! Highly recommend Tiny Voices; nowhere else compares! “MyFirst Preschool is such a hidden gem. I love the smaller, more personal environment — with fewer children, the teachers can truly connect. When my daughter was still settling in, I often saw the teachers having warm one-on-one chats with her, giving her cuddles and making her feel safe. She’s blossomed here, and the teachers put so much thought into planning engaging activities every day. Recently, they’ve even added music sessions, where she has learnt to keep rhythm — such an unexpected delight. Highly recommended.”

“The Learning Corner is a warm welcoming daycare and we are 100% happy with their wonderful care. Each day we are greeted like family by both the lovely teachers and gorgeous kids. The sugar-free policy puts us at ease knowing our son is going to get good healthy (and yummy) meals each day, and he comes home buzzing about the things he has learnt during the day through their discussions and playing. Our eldest has just moved onto Primary School, however she still talks about her Preschool teachers. Which demonstrates the closeness and genuine relationships she had built with her teachers at Kindercare. “This is my go to shopping place. The prices are awesome. Most Grocery items are cheaper than the supermarket. Seriously check this out you will be pleasantly surprised. Staff are great, parking is a breeze. Theres something for everyone no matter the age.”

“I want to thank the person who manages and cleans the Play Arcade at West City. We accidentally left our bag with our wallets and important valuables. When we realized and went back to search, he returned everything to us, safe and untouched. We tried to offer him a reward, but he kindly refused, showing incredible honesty and kindness. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask his name, but he’s a young man with curly hair. To whoever manages him, you have an amazing employee!
