I walk this park walkway regularly with my dog and I am constantly amazed at the number of cyclists who race up behind and overtake us without warning. It's dangerous and annoying. I had one angry MAMIL shout at me after he ran down my dog. Is it really too much ask that cyclists ring their bells to announce their approach instead of scaring the hell out of pedestrians? Only a tiny percentage consider the needs of others. Could the council please erect signs recommending the use of bells? If cyclists don't have a bell, might I suggest they forgo the cost of a lycra posing pouch and invest in this simple courtesy?

Pump track is super average good for kids family or a chill (spin spot) lots of tourist these days but no issues. Toilets are nice and clean also covered shade and picnic seat/bbq area w amazing view from Cape Kidnappers all the way to Tongora

Right on the beach. 2 toilets, they are really clean. The beach is black stones, it's beautiful. The trees that have been washed up, I imagine from the cyclone is crazy

Easy access. Clean toilet and there are two garbage cans. No towels or anything in the toilet to dry your hands. I didn't see a dump station. Quite a few worker trucks and workers (3) came by at 7 am. That wasn't too bad. Then some people walking their dog came at 7 am and were talking very loudly and doing lots of things (opening and closing their car door about 5 times). Definitely not able to sleep past that. The view of the ocean and the sunrise was beautiful in the morning.

Just staying for the night , I think . So loving Napier and the fantastic weather we are having. Got clean toilets and rubbish bins and parking for 6 motorhomes even though it says 8 , they would have to be no longer than 6mtrs to fit 8 .

Only free car park overnight for NSC. Pretty cool spot, in front of the beach, 2 flush toilets cleaned every day, full of rubbish bins and fresh water. ONLY 8 SPOTS and 2 NIGHTS. Around 7.30pm a security guy checks all cars and plate numbers. You will find some people parking and walking around, some of them a little bit rear but is all good, they just want to have a chat. (It should be prohibited for SC as they have a much bigger spot 5 blocks ahead)
