   Could be an amazing family campground. Nice playground , bouncy pillow, beautiful kitchen, swimming pool. But… The swimming pool is rather dirty with milky water, in the really beautiful kitchen there is nothing people could use to clean after themselves (it will be cleaned, but in the meantime there are plenty of crumbs around). I even saw a cleaning staff checking the toilets and signing the „last cleaning board“ without cleaning at all while the toilets were not clean enough to just leave it like they were. Stil, Overall the campground is not unclean. From the service people you get treated ok but that’s not comparable to smaller campsites. They did not really give effort to support your inquiries like information about the town. All in all an okayish experience

   My family had a very poor experience during our stay, and we definitely do not recommend anyone staying there. When I leaned on a chair to put my shoes on, there was a nail sticking out and I ended up puncturing my hand. Now imagine if that had been a child. The TV would not connect to the internet at all. The password provided by reception didn’t work, and despite trying everything, nothing resolved the issue. We had to rely on mobile data instead. We tried calling reception and the hotel multiple times. You can try every available number, you won’t be able to reach anyone. The noise from the fridge and the shower is extremely loud.

   Stayed here for 1 night in a 2 bedroom unit. Excellent place; clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable. Great location and the included breakfast was a bonus! Staff in the office were excellent - welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

   Had high expectations, bit of a let down to be honest. Pros: clean amenities, big kitchen, laundry clean as well. Campsites were fine. Good location. Cons: the pool area is big, but 70% is kiddy pool. The remaining pool area is only 0.5m deep and filled with kids as well. Showers are fine, but take a while to warm up and you have to press the button literally every 15 seconds. No smoking on campground which is understandable yet is not enforced as people were smoking at communal area on multiple occasions while staff was present. All in all our stay was fine, just had hoped for something more.

   We love Kennedy park Resort, always clean and tidy rooms. Great location - close to shops and tourist attractions (such as the aquarium) No late night noise or disruptive people. I stay here for a couple nights every couple of weeks and its always been amazing.

   Great place. For individuals all the way up to large sporting teams Kennedy Park lodge is able to cover your needs. There are possibly a few upgrades that could be made but none that will impact the practicality of the resort. Highly reccomed

   We booked Kennedy Park for our sports team travelling to Napier for a tournament. The staff are always extremely helpful and pleasant, the rooms are well equipped and the park is super clean & tidy. The bathrooms are kept clean and the laundry facility is great. We booked the Group Dining Room for our stay so that we could cater the meals for our players and eat together in same room and it was perfect for our stay. Thanks Kennedy Park! We will definitely be returning.

   We rang while travelling to book a room for 2. Unfortunately reception was bad and we lost contact. We rang back and they slammed the phone back down on us. Rang again, and went through to answer machine. Left a message. No call back. Also rude to slam a phone down when some one wanted a room for the 2 of us for one night while we drove up from Manawatu for a special event. Sad for them because I won't be recommending this place. Sad for them losing good money for 2 people wanting a bed for a night. Now we're couch surfing at no cost.

3. Wolf Nipple Chips ★★★★☆

   Had two nights on a powered campervan site. Very nice site with excellent staff and great service. $60 a night for a week night was a little pricey though. That said, safe and secure, the site has a nice pool and a restaurant. Probs great for families.

   We had a non powered tent site but we were amazed by the wonderful and quality facilities that were here there is something here for everyone no matter what age. A great range of accommodation on offer from tent sites to motels and everything in between the kitchen dining area is 2nd to none and also multiple charging ports in the kitchen too. I would highly reccomend Kennedy Park Resort and would definitely stay there again.
