Christine Manning was a treat to deal with! It was so easy and responsive, and quick to get things sorted. They never said, No, but we will try.' The attitude was great, and made living in the property easier.
After having a bad experience with another agency, I was lucky to have Darling Agency for almost two years. My property manager, Christian Manning, was always helpful, professional, and easy to contact. She responded quickly to my emails and provided great support throughout the contract transfer process. I truly appreciated her communication and attention to detail. Overall, my experience with Darling Agency was fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They are the best in Dunedin!

Experienced a very unhelpful and unpleasant couple of months with these people. Our property manager Lauryn Beaton was extremely uncommunicative to the point there we wondered if she ever showed up to work at all. She left maintenance requests completely unanswered and told us we needed to “remind her” when we asked why they were unanswered, she took weeks to months to respond to simple questions or communications, she failed to produce important documents that were supposed to be held by the company, she failed to give us keys to one of the rooms after several requests, she always gave the exact minimum notice or less for inspections and showings of the flat (always exactly two days and never once more than that), and canceled things without any communication whatsoever, the communications we did receive were poorly composed and unprofessional, she failed to include two of the people in our house in email notices despite us having given her our emails, and she was quite rude when conducting inspections, even slamming several doors in my face while I accompanied her through the house. Our landlord switched realty companies partway through our lease to a different organization, because work that was supposed to be done by the realtor was being passed off to him, and within a week of meeting our lovely new realtor, all of the issues with the property that Lauryn had failed to address, were either fixed or on their way to getting fixed. The company’s hours are also, frankly, laughably few, which makes any business with them harder to conduct. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our new company and would absolutely not recommend this one to either landlords or perspective tenants. Edit: forgot to add, they also mistakenly put us into arrears after failing to use money that one of our flatmates had paid them. They told us we owed a large additional sum and we ended up paying the extra to get ourselves out of arrears, despite it being an error on their part. Although we were eventually reimbursed for the overpayment, this caused significant financial strain on us while it was happening, and should not have been an issue to begin with.
Dealing with the Darling Realty team has been wonderful, Christine Manning our property Manager is professional, integral, and is always thorough and practical with any advice regarding our property needs. Kindest Regards Carolyn
Worst company I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. Mould all through the flat which they’ve done barely anything about. If you have a rental agreement from these people throw it away and never look back. Please, don’t torture yourself.

I have rented with Darling Realty with Christine Manning as agent looking after our apartment. Easily one of my besting renting experience. Professional and reliable from prior to commencing rent, during (easily contacted, always emails/messages for any changes or flat check, flexible with what can be done to apartment) and even when moving out of apartment. The apartment was well looked after prior to us moving as well. The other staff at darling realty were always helpful and nice whenever Christine was away.
I have had an excellent experience as a tenant of Darling Realty. They have been consistently professional and helpful, and they are always on top of any issues I have with the rental property. An absolutely opposite experience to some of reviews posted here! I have been really grateful having such responsive property managers to work with. Thanks Darling!
