Motoring hotel with beautiful sea views. Hot tub in the room wasn’t our thing but must be fun. It’s been a lovely spot to hang out in Napier.
Nice and clean. Beautiful views. Lovely service. Just wished we had extra blankets,there was only 1 spare for one of the beds. My skin drys out too much leaving a heat pump on. It was a cold night. Apart from that everything was lovely.
Very great place to stay, the room was very big and great for the price. Had a view of the beach, wonderful sunrise in the morning. Loved the addition of the spa bath in the room, was able to watch movies while relaxing in the spa. There is a bit of a walk to town but it is a nice walk along the beach to get there. The aquarium is also 1-2 minutes away so very walkable.
Stay here every time we visit Napier, and never fails to please. Rooms presented immaculately and gorgeous views to top it off. A truly relaxing stay without doubt.
Service isn't great. Dry cleaning is in the pamphlet as being provided but the person at the service desk knew nothing of it. On the day I checked out at 8.00am the reception was closed. There was a sign with a number to call. The person who answered the call said she was off ill. I'm sure there are better service d places than this.
This is definitely one of the best deals I ever got. The room was super fancy and had more than I needed for my stay. Moreover, its central location close to the city centre and the ocean makes it an even better option when visiting Napier.
We stayed 3 nights in 2 different rooms. The 1st room was nice but we had no hot water at all, due to an apparent known problem with the gas system in this room. Obviously, cleaners must use cold water to clean, wash dishes... That was quite disappointing as we could not shower our kids or use the spa ! We tried to talk to someone, but no one was at reception (they had a sign on the reception door with a cell phone number - no one picked up). The 2nd room was better as we had hot water- yeah ! Cleaning was not great with bags of opened chips in the drawers and dirty undies in the kid's room. Rooms are spacious and the view over the ocean is great. It is a shame as those little issues are disappointing and could be easily fixed. The receptionist said sorry for the hot water trouble but did not even offer any compensation of any kind.
Just wow hotel, whether it’s ocean view, spa in suite, location, cleanliness, room quality. We had a good one day stay. Free car parking, awesome kids playground in 200m what else you need, highly recommended. Reception ladies were very polite.
