It is absolutely amazing experience for staying in here. Sarah and Amar are so lovely and helpful!!! Sure I will be back again.
Old rotting hotel to be honest, the bathroom was okay, wallpapers are peeling off the walls, the furniture is dated and disgusting. Sofa bed was comfy but it felt kinda gross. Sheets were clean at least though I think. Only redeeming quality was the excellent indian/continental place downstairs/around the corner. Room not really worth the price but factoring in the location it’s okay.
Perfect place to stay. Walking distance to all amenities, housekeeping was impeccable, great view. Also recommend popping into Kohinoor Continental for breakfast AND dinner for a great meal or two. The ribs are some of the best I've eaten
Nice big room, the rooms a bit tired, paint coming off walls, tiles cracked, shower pressure not very good, water leaked underneath all over the floor. The traffic noise outside was loud, not double glazed Beds were comfy, good location to town, nice restaurant below the motel. Expensive to stay over labour's weekend
Rooms well appointed. Nice furniture, plenty of space. Slightly tired decor.
Our room had a great view from the balcony, of Marine Parade. The massive round spa bath in the room was great - relax and soak while watching a movie on the HUGE TV screen. BUT it was quite disturbing when we got into bed and started scratching a short time later. Pulled back the covers and there were tiny things smaller than the size of an ant scattered between the sheets, which thank goodness didn't move (not saying they weren't creepy crawlies, but not saying they were, either). Then further down the bed we saw a few long strands of hair. They were dark and my hair isn't, so was thinking that the cleaners didn't bother to change the previous guests sheets, or maybe their own hair dropped when they made the bed. The wall by the bed had a layer of dust - if there was a fan pointed at the wall, the dust would have become airborne. The next stay in Napier will be at one of the other motels along Marine Parade.
Average stay. Most of the reviews promise more than what is delivered. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, but not great quality for price paid.
Clean tidy and all amenities provided. Central location and friendly host. Stayed here several times Always food great also .
I've stayed here a couple of times now and I'll probably not stay anywhere else again. Friendly staff, great prices, really good rooms with great views and plenty of parking. Very clean and they even have mini bars. You'd be mad to stay anywhere else.
