My partner Sarah and I had the absolute pleasure of having The Old Mill as our wedding venue. We picked The Old Mill for the vibe of the venue and in conjunction with the staff it did not disappoint. From the initial viewing of the venue to the practice set up the staff were always accommodating and happy to help to ensure our day went off without a hitch. Chloe was amazing the day before our wedding helping to ensure we were set up and also assisting with rehearsal so we knew what we were doing on the day. On the day not a single issue Chloe and her team ensured everything went as planned and co-ordinated with the other vendors to ensure our day was perfect. We were also treated to a late night Tango dance by Chole and the bar manager which was very magical moment. I would throughly recommend any couple looking to get married and looking for a venue then The Old Mill is a must look.

We were at The Old Mill for an art deco festival event on the Saturday night and I recommend it. First time at the venue and it is beautiful. The courtyard is private with a perfect rustic charm. Seating under the verandah and under the sun. The lower level function room was beautiful decorated and we did not miss windows. The food was lovely, friendly and obliging staff. A few more toilets wouldn't have gone amiss!

we went to the friday night jazz event during the Art Deco weekend. While the venue and food was lovely, we were disappointed in the lack of facilities there were there for dancing. It was advertised that there would be dancing after the food was served. This didn't happen until about 9:45 and the music supplied was not at all dance music. We managed to get the bar person to change the music a bit, but it was not ballroom dancing music. I understand this is a wedding venue and I'm sure it works well for that, but if you are going to avail yourself of Art Deco weekends it would be nice to provide what you advertised.
