Ports O' Call Bar & Grill delivers a classic fish-and-chips offering that’s straight to the point. Ribs and steaks come seasoned and tender. Value feels fair for the spread. Combinations read bold but stay balanced. Blue cod and other fillets arrive fresh with light batter.
Went in for dinner service was good however food prices and wait time in the negatives got mains food what came was enough to feed a sparrow. Should of went to burger fuel
Had the ribeye med-rare with mushroom and Gorgonzola sauce, $48 Steak not very well done, think it was cooked from fridge as middle wasn't very nice, fat not rendered, lots of sinew and grisly bits, no dressing of cut prior to cooking, chef needs a talking to. Gratin ok, portion on the small side for a pub atmosphere. Sauce didn't have any Gorgonzola flavour.
Was a nice and quiet restaurant. Though it was a bit dull in terms of atmosphere. Servers were wonderful. Food was alright but nothing to write home about really I had their lamb special and it wasn't very flavourful. The texture was good and the mash was tasty but it the lamb had no depth to it. Overall a good experience though.

Great bar to catch up with friends. Service was excellent.
The restaurant lacked atmosphere so we ate in the bar. We were a party of four and two of our group had finished before the remaining two got their meal. Despite our polite complaint nothing was offered by way of apology. It was OK. Decidedly average. I wouldn't rush back.
Last night we had a lovely experience in this restaurant! A very polite and well dressed young lady served us, she was very attentitive and bubbly. All five of us had different drinks and these came out promptly. Our meals were delicious. The child's meal was perfect size and all the main meals were excellent. The ribs cooked beautifully. The steak was perfect and the chicken really tasty. I had the bao buns as a main and these were top notch. Really good value for money for an inner city restaurant. Thank you.
The haloumi burger is amazing, so much haloumi!! Can choose if you want it with chips or salad. It's actually a shame it's on their bar menu only and is only available after 4:30pm. The actual venue is classic pub style, nothing special, but the service and quick delivery are good too.
Our overall experience was wonderful! The Grilled Halloumi Burger and Mumbai Burger were incredible! Starter of Rosemary & Garlic Bread Roll was very tasty and the entree of Wild Mushroom Arancini (see photo) was packed with flavour.
