Really Had a great time here. The Taiwanese snacks were surprisingly authentic β the chicken steak, popcorn chicken and sausage were all delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt relaxed. The karaoke rooms are clean with good sound quality, and getting free singing with minimum spend is amazing value. Perfect spot for group hangouts. Definitely coming back.

I highly recommend this place for a get-together with friends. You can enjoy great Taiwanese food and sing in the same spot, which makes it really fun and easy. The Taiwanese sausage was my favourite, sweet and tasty, and the fried chicken went perfectly with a cold Taiwan Beer. The prices are reasonable, especially with their happy hour deal, and the whole atmosphere feels relaxed and friendly. Iβd definitely come back again.

Just landed in Christchurch and headed straight to the restaurant. The food is authentic with great service! If you are looking for Asian food, especially Taiwanese street food that brings to the table. You are going to love it! Highly recommend if you travel around Christchurch!

Half the menu was not available, then they screwed up the bubble tea, twice. How can a Taiwanese Person not know how to make bubble tea? Hint: there's tea in it. Also the dumplings looked nothing like the menu, Not sure if there's a chef there, but maybe give them some training. Go to Little Taipei, 1000% better.

First time here, it was nice at the beginning when we sang in karaoke room but we were so disappointed for the intestine noodle portion! It costs us $14. 90 but i can't even find one bite of noodles in the bowl! Only a few pieces of pork intestine and soup in the bowl. We complained to the lady staff and she told us this noodle is under snack category. Her attitude is really bad, not allowed to add some noodle or change other foods. Other than this, another friend ordered a hotpot. When this lady served the hotpot, she asked my friend to remove the tray as "she had no 3rd hand", we are customer not one of the staff in this shop! It's really an unpleasant experience here, we will not come back again.

In short, food was below average and no where near the Taiwanese flavor. Even if I look at it as a modified Taiwanese cuisine, I still wouldn't recommend to anyone as it's just not worth the money. We ordered the Taiwanese Three-Cup Chicken (San Bei Chicken δΈζ―ιοΌ, Pork Bao οΌθε¬θ±¬οΌ, Oyster Omelette οΌθ΅δ»η οΌ, Chicken Roll οΌιζ²οΌ, and a Taro Bubble Tea οΌθζ³₯ζ³’ζ³’ε₯ΆθΆοΌ. The chicken was way too sweet. Pork Bao had lots of sauerkraut but not even pork belly. The batter of Oyster Omelette was done wrong so it was really really slimy, plus when the oyster was defrost, it wasn't washed so we chewed on several shells in our omelette. The boba in the Taro Bubble Tea wasn't cooked properly so it was hard on the inside but the outside is soogy/gooey, not chewy at all; not even taro paste but the tea is ok. The Chicken Roll was the only thing we ordered that was ok. In my opinion, the chef probably has never done or tried any Taiwanese dishes at all. We won't go back or recommend to anyone.
