Nice spot indeed, pitty no toilets closer to the freedom spot. or rubbish bins, but jones landing across the water has it all and can stay longer than 2 nights here. And sad no concil come and check you are only there for said 2 nights. This place will close soon as so many stay way longer.

Good destination and a beautiful spot to relax for yourself or with the family and dip in the water on a nice sunny day. Plenty of shade and parking.

Fantastic spot, parked for 2 nights freedom camping in our caravan in May 2025. Gorgeous views, felt safe, toilets are clean. Well looked after by council

Love it here even in winter! Nice to get out of the city. BTW ā¦. As of 30 June 2023 the loos are still here and Iām not sure why or how they went missing but definitely not gone..

What a hidden treasure. Spent 2 nights in our self contained camper with our dog. Such a great spot and grateful for places that allow dogs. Awesome!

Lovely camping spot right by the river. Lots of space and decent flushing toilets onsite.

Always beautiful, especially early in the morning when the water is still, the grass is frosty and all you can hear are the native birds and farm animals from the surrounding farms
